[Being warm and comfortable is nice for half a second, but Edna has never needed to sleep in her life. Sure, resting is great and all, especially after a long and hard fight, but still not necessary. And waking up has never been difficult for her. Until now.

She rolls over and stretches, a booted foot sticking out of the blankets as her gloved hand covers a yawn that would put a man five times her size to shame. One blue eye cracks open before the other and she slowly rotates her head over.

And sees a black sky sprinkled with stars. Too many stars. That's when she sits up and looks around, frowning as she sees the sterile metal....things everywhere.]

Where's my mountain?

[Her hands pat around her, looking for her umbrella, and come up empty. Her voice and face definitely let anyone who can see her over the comm know that she is Not Happy. Sadly all that comes through is her voice, and the movements she makes on the bed. So, beware of ghosts.]

Alright, Meebo, you can give my umbrella back. You have five seconds.

[Action]

[For those with high spiritual resonance, they will see a tiny girl who is stomping around the Marsiva, looking as if she can murder anything or one who gets in her way. Her footsteps are much heavier than someone of her size should be able to generate, but that's not stopping her.]

[A video feed with a disembodied voice is a little suspicious.]

They even take people's umbrellas? That's pretty low.

[Well, there's a voice she was hoping to hear, but why can't she see him?

It's just something she'll have to get out of him, once she can find him.]

Probably to make sure that I can't hit you with it anymore. But that won't save you.

[ Eizen knows that voice.

He remembers as though he last heard it yesterday instead of all those years ago when he left their mountain, heard it sometimes in his head when he read her letters. For a moment he thinks it is just that, in his head, something his mind conjured up after thinking about her for so long. His sister, his Edna, couldn't be here on the Fleet, right?

But she is, it isn't in his head, and he holds breath he doesn't actually need. ]

Edna?

I didn't take it- and they took my staff, too! Don't just go blaming whoever comes to mind!

[Edna twists and turns until she sees the little communicator lit up on the nightstand and she squints at it before poking it with a gloved finger. When it doesn't do anything else for a minute, she looks down at the screen and only gets a stranger. Only enough, her face doesn't change.

She doesn't know that Ghost Edna is making a visit. Otherwise, she'd find some bright side to this whole thing.]

I don't know who's responsible but when I find them, they're going to pay.

[She crosses her arms ineffectually over her chest, feeling naked without her constant prop.]

How do they expect me to get around? What if I get too much sun and get a freckle?

[By now she's been holding the communicator and when she hears that voice, her fingers go numb. She can't feel her feet and she's not surprised when she hits the floor alongside the stupid plastic and metal thing.

She opens her mouth to make a sound and it doesn't come. After a few more attempts, a noise finally emerges, but it's not really human.]

Eizen?

[She leans over the communicator, staring intently at the screen, tears coming to her eyes without her permission. Even if he's not there, even if she can't see him, it's like with Mikleo, right? RIGHT? RIGHT?]

Eizen?!

[ Aw, shit. ]

You can't go blaming poor Meebo for everything, y'know. It's not ladylike.

What 'they'? And where is this? Why aren't we on Reyfalke? Where are the others?

Of course I looked out the window! I'm not an idiot like some people. That doesn't answer anything else.

[She sees the stupid communicator and looks at it closely. Mikleo's voice is coming from it, but the screen just shows her some other weird metal room.]

And what is this thing?

[And because she is not patient, she's going to hurt him even more when she finds him. He should know by now that it he should just submit to her initial abuse and it'll be easier for everyone.]

Gross. Any advice you'd give me would be better spent given to Normin.

[She leans into the communicator, still not sure of it, not even after a few conversations already.]

A group called Atroma pulled us off our world and put us here. If you want to point a finger at who took your umbrella, I'd start there.

[Yeah, no amount of preparation can help this. Hundreds and hundreds of years of childish, fruitless wishing and praying had just been put to rest and not even a breath later, she's got this shoved in her face.

And something that that Pouting Purple Petunia would use against her. If she knew. She considers it, but dismisses it. There's no way that Symmone could've known a damn thing about Eizen.

Zaveid and the others aren't this cruel. They wouldn't do this to her, no matter what.

I don't know where to find the Atroma, or what their true intentions are, but I know that time works differently here. It's been more than a year since Sorey and I arrived.

I'm afraid that can't be helped. I don't think there are mountains in space. Maybe you can find one when we dock?

What's a 'Meebo'?

Meebo is a high-pitched creature that needs to be beaten regularly so that it doesn't do stupid things. Like walk off with angry ghosts favorite items.

Like we had any choice in the matter. Anyway, you said you saw me five minutes ago, so for you it obviously hasn't been that long. That's what I mean about time being weird.

[Eleanor can't see either of the Malakhim, and that's only making her more confused. Is there an option to disable video on the communication device?]

I'm not sure I understand. Is this 'Meebo' a person?
