[After Eleanor arrives, it takes her a few days to 'adjust.' She had plenty of experience travelling, sure, but all of that was aboard a pirate ship. This is space, and there are so many questions she has.]

[Once she feels comfortable, she decides to use the communication device to reach out. At the very least, touching base with everyone here couldn't hurt.]

Good evening, everyone.

I'm Eleanor Hume. I was recently transported here to be a part of this 'show.' I can't say that I'm happy about this, but I'm going to try to make the most of it.

I look forward to meeting all of you. If there's anything you need, please let me know.

[Eleanor is spending most of the week getting used to life on board the Wonderduck. Most of her time is spent between the armory and the bridge of the ship, but she's making occasional visits to the kitchen, too.]

Well, it's better than just being miserable, isn't it?

[It's too bad for Jusis, too, because earnest is the only way Eleanor knows how to be.]

I never said I intended to be miserable. I'll do what I can, but I don't intend to treat this like some field trip or field study.

[He shrugs, his facial features not really changing much.]

Given we're on some 'reality tv show' I don't want to give anything our viewers would enjoy, especially if it's our displeasure.

I'm not treating this as a field trip, either. If there's some good we can do on the planets we visit, it's our responsibility to do it. Regardless of what the viewers think.

[Eleanor isn't too pleased about everything being broadcast, nor is she pleased about actually being watched. But she wants to believe that she's a big enough person it won't affect her.]

I don't see how it's our responsibility to do good on any planets. Honestly, I wasn't aware I was suddenly put in the brigade of super heroes to save the universe!

[A change in expression as he scoffs at her. Really. He isn't here for this. To him, her way of thinking is naive. Try to do good wherever you've been thrust?]

[Eleanor likes to think that she didn't have a 'bad side,' but she absolutely does, and Jusis is quickly finding himself on it.]

It's our responsibility because we've been gifted with the means to do so. [She's...actually not sure that's the case, but it seems to be close enough.]

If you don't want to help, then don't. Your attitude would cause more harm than good, anyway.

[Meanwhile, Jusis is all too aware he has a 'bad side' and has no problem showing it all the time.]

There might be a day when you need help too, you know.

[She won't withhold the help, but Eleanor's getting very frustrated with Jusis and trying to prove a point. She's doing poorly, but trying nonetheless.]

And if that time should come, I will call on those on whom I can rely on.

And trust me, there have been times where help was necessary and those who I bonded with came to my aid.

[Basically, this asshole admits to having friends... somehow.]

[That's a pretty bad burn, and Eleanor would be lying if she said she wasn't at least a little hurt. She sounds it, too.]

If that's the case, I can't understand why you're so obviously against getting along with others. Calling everyone foolish isn't going to make you friends.

[She has no room to talk, considering how she once treated Velvet and Rokurou, but she's going to anyway.]

I have a friend here. That's all I really need.

[Eleanor frowns. As painful as it is, he does have a point. She is overreaching here, and it's not her place to decide for him.]
