[After Eleanor arrives, it takes her a few days to 'adjust.' She had plenty of experience travelling, sure, but all of that was aboard a pirate ship. This is space, and there are so many questions she has.]

[Once she feels comfortable, she decides to use the communication device to reach out. At the very least, touching base with everyone here couldn't hurt.]

Good evening, everyone.

I'm Eleanor Hume. I was recently transported here to be a part of this 'show.' I can't say that I'm happy about this, but I'm going to try to make the most of it.

[Eleanor is spending most of the week getting used to life on board the Wonderduck. Most of her time is spent between the armory and the bridge of the ship, but she's making occasional visits to the kitchen, too.]

["Testing something?" That sounds ominous, but Eleanor will leave it be.]

Yes. I'm security too, I believe. [It explains why she feels proficient in weapons she's never seen before, if nothing else.]

If you've got the feeling you are, you probably are. Don't worry about it too much.

[Fie looks at her curiously.]

So, you've had a couple days to look around, right? Any questions about the ship?

[humene]

Several. [She has more questions about the ship than she doesn't, if she's being honest. But Eleanor settles on one.]

What is it most important for us to know?

[sylphid]

That's pretty subjective.

[She thinks for a moment.] My answer'd be to not underestimate anyone and be surprised at nothing.

[humene]

[That's very unsettling. There isn't much Eleanor can think to expect in space, anyway, but Fie's words seem to hint at something else.]

Are these 'surprises' common?

[sylphid]

They can be. You just never know what could offend someone.

[While she doesn't personally care about that part of it, she'd rather not have anyone angry coming after the crew on the ship.]

[humene]

[Eleanor looks at Fie suspiciously. That sounds oddly specific, and probably like a story she doesn't want to know about.]

Yes, we should probably be on our best behavior when visiting other planets.

[sylphid]

[Surprisingly no, there's no specific story here. It'd be more fun if there were.]

Sure, that, too.

[That...makes her a little uneasy too, but Eleanor can roll with it.]

Have you visited anywhere interesting?

[sylphid]

The system we were at when I first arrived was a planet completely underwater. That was new to me.
