Hello again, everyone. Thanks to everybody who reached out to me when I first got here. I'm on the Twin Roses now so if you want to find me, here I am! In the meantime, I guess we should all figure out something to do here. This ship is pretty nice and all but I wonder if there's a place someone can skate? Victor didn't mention any place he found yet so maybe someone else knows a place to ice skate. Or dance. That would work too!

What do you do around here, guys? What's the best thing?

I'll be on the Twin Roses soon, okay? I can't wait to see you.

[Then he goes about finding a shuttle which will get him to the Twin Roses.]

[You're in luck, Yuri. Your co-captain is actually leaving her room and doing things and stuff. Okay, she's dressed in her pajamas in the afternoon, but she is so full of not caring that she has some to share if you need it. She was just listening to recent network posts without much thought of responding until she heard the "Twin Roses" mentioned. So she walks along until she finds the new arrival.]

Hm. There you are. [Not actually a greeting, Kitty.] Welcome to the Twin Roses. [Better.]

Victor! Alright, I'll stay right here! I can't wait to see you either. How are you going to get here? Can you use the shuttle?

_{[He just waits eagerly like a child in a train station. Is he here yet? How about now? How about noooow?]}

I think so. The only time I've left the Heron was to attend a ball they held. You should have seen it, it was so glamorous.

There was a ball? I wish I'd been there... _{[They could have danced like at the party where they ah... 'met'. He could have a party that he remembered this time.]}

You be careful, okay? Don't talk to me, focus on flying.

Okay, okay.

See you soon. [And then he leaves the network to focus on getting to the ship. It takes longer than he'd like but eventually he's on the Twin Roses and looking for Yuri.]

_{[He blinks at her when she darkens the room and while the room itself was well lit, she brought a certain dour demeanor with her. He swallowed.]}

Hello. Good to meet you, you must have heard my post. I'm Yuri Katsuki. What's your name?

_{[She's got something going on. He can see the signs of distress in the pajamas she wears at this hour. He's been there. He gets it... but he wonders what her deal is. He looks her up and down and gestures to a seat near him.]}

Is everything alright? Do you want to sit?

Good. See you when you get here.

_{[And he's trying to be patient but he'd be lying if he said he wasn't counting the minutes. He started pacing back and forth and looking out the windows for Victor until he heard footsteps. His ears perked. Could it be? Was it one of his crewmates?]}

Victor? _{[he hurried after the sound.]}

Victor?? Is that you? _{[If it is he's getting a big hug, Yuri can't wait to see him, he needs to see one familiar face right now.]}

[It turns out to be exactly him. When Yuri hugs him, he tosses his arms around him and holds onto him.]

Yuri... [His voice is soft as he takes in how it feels to have Yuri with him again.]

I'm so glad it's really you.

Kitty Pryde. I did. And I'm fine. [Little sigh.] My definition of fine may be that I'm not actively on fire, but we all have our own baseline. [She waves off the seat.]

Doesn't sound like you were on the Marsiva long. Was anyone else on the ship? [She hadn't seen reports of any other new arrivals.]

_{[He's been through so much in so little time. He may or may not have teared up when he saw it was Victor. Even though they'd talked, hearing his voice in person was doing a number on him too. He was here, he was really here like Victor was saying.]}

Me too... oh, Victor. _{[He squeezed him tight. He didn't want to let go, he just wanted to hug Victor and open his eyes and be back home. But he wasn't, they were in this ship but at least he had Victor. Yuri smiled at him and rubbed his eyes.]}

Thanks for coming so fast.

Of course. Now that you're here, I can't imagine being anywhere else but at your side...

[That's a little too honest so instead of dwelling on it, he pulls back enough to look Yuri's body over.] How are you? Everything well?

Ah... sounds rough. Do you want to talk about it? Can I help in any way? I mean, I live here now, so we should help each other.

Oh, no... the Marsiva was empty except for me. I didn't stay long at all, I was here before I knew it. Is that not normal or something?

Can I ask you about this place?

Victor... yeah. Me too. This place... _{[He doesn't want to admit how disturbed he is by this but he will keep his calm as long as Victor is around. He's alright. He's just misplaced... with Victor. So he was mostly safe. Right?

He looks normal as ever, still in his warm-up suit.]}

I feel fine. A little freaked out but I'm okay. What about you? Are you okay? You've been here so long. Here, come on, I found my room. We can talk in there. Do you want a drink? _{[He tugs on Victor's arm gesturing to the hallway where his room is. As nice as this ship common area is... he feels less vulnerable at the thought of being alone with Victor.]}

I don't need anything, just take me to your room.

[They could use privacy and he could see how comfortable Yuri is going to be living here.]

Okay, come on. _{[He rushes with Victor to his room, in the hatch, down the ladder... and it's not a bad place. It's about the size of his room in Hasetsu but the bed is a bit bigger.]}

It could use some artwork but...it's okay in here. Don't sit on the chair, it's uncomfortable but the bed isn't bad. Maybe I'll get some floor pillows but please, make yourself at home.

So, on the Heron, is your room like this?

[Victor looks around curiously.]

They're almost identical. [He admits after a moment. Then, he moves to sit on the bed. Even the comfort level is pretty much the same.]

Except that the Heron's hallways were a bit more... colorful? [He isn't sure that's the right word.] And Twin Roses seems more advanced. Sleeker.

The rooms are almost the same thought. I wonder if that's the case for all of the ships?

Wow, that's a lot of empathy. I haven't even had coffee yet. [Just going to be deferring that extremely sweet offer with jokes. That is exactly how she sees the ship. Her crew is like a family and that family keeps going missing. Castle just disappeared and he'd been on the ship since before her and there was a string of people before him. And Winn, of course, who was never officially on the crew, but was here a lot the way she used to be on his ship a lot too.]

I didn't stay on the Marsiva long either, but I had a lot of company. That kind of thing just ebbs and flows though.

Oh, good. You've got a good place too. You can stay here if you want to... _{[Yuri won't beg him to stay over but... okay maybe he ought to. He was so freaked out about this whole thing and he knew better than to ask about it now. There were no answers to be had so asking was just a waste of time. He was trying his best to remain calm but Victor was better at holding a facade than he was. He didn't show fear or fatigue or stress.]}

You'd know better than me. I have only seen it here and Marsiva. Maybe the rest of my crew won't mind if I decorate the hall a little bit. Speaking of... how does that work? How does money work? Do we make it by being on the show? Food is given to us and the ships too... I just wonder what the catch is...

_{[He sits on the bed with Victor. Just hearing his voice was helping. He didn't even have to provide real answers. Yuri laid his head on Victor's shoulder.]}

I guess we should get comfy here. The only thing I have is my gym bag and my skates... I don't know where to begin furnishing this place.

_{[He can get behind the family thing. His fellow skaters were a kind of family even though they were also competitors. They all supported each other and wanted the best for each other... except maybe JJ but whatever. He could tell she was avoiding something so he wouldn't press the issue.]}

I can get coffee if you want. I played with the kitchen tools... I figured that much out. Do you want some? _{[he's trying to be helpful and to maybe understand what happened to her.]}

I guess I was a loner when I came. It's strange, my coach and my... _{[He can't call Victor his friend, they are more than that but he doesn't know what word to use.]} Victor, he and I were together. But he's here now and he was here almost a month before I got here. How can that be? It's so... I guess trying to figure it out is useless.

Thank you... well do you know anything about this place? Who brought us here and why? How did we get here? Where are we going? How is the crew decided? How long have you been here?

[Slowly, Victor moved his arm around Yuri, encouraging him to rest a little closer. He didn't have all of the answers about how this place worked or how they got money. He had been lucky to find his allowance was just enough to let him get a suit for the party. He wasn't sure what happened after that just yet.]

We don't have to have all of the answers just yet, Yuri. I'm sure the people here will answer all of those questions.

For now, why don't we focus on calming you do. You sound really anxious.

Yeah... yeah that sounds good.

_{[He reached around to hug Victor around the middle. He breathed in Victor's scent and that helped too. This place was normal. It had Victor. This place was safe... it had Victor. Victor wasn't upset. He had to be stronger. Victor couldn't be his crutch. He had to stand tall.

He breathed in slowly and held this breath. 1...2...3...4...5...6... he exhaled. 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8. He inhaled. 1.2.3.4. He held it in. He exhaled. He inhaled. He held it in. He repeated that until he wasn't thinking about the space ship or the reality show. He has his eyes closed. He had Victor, he could smell Victor, he could feel his arm and his body heat. They were just sitting in their hotel room getting ready for a match. Everything was fine... just go to a happy place...]}

[For a long while, Victor sat there and let Yuri calm himself. He kept his arm around Yuri to stroke his back but otherwise he let Yuri do whatever he needed to do.

Once Yuri seemed a bit calmer, Victor pulled at him slightly to encourage him to lie down, and then, if Yuri complied, planed to settle next to him.]

Um, sure. We can get some coffee. [She can see how much he wants to help already and he just met her and she's not even as friendly as usual which isn't necessarily super friendly and she doesn't know what to do with that right now. She's been crying so much this week that she just really hopes she doesn't do that. She doesn't really want to inflict herself upon him, but he's on her ship now and new and has questions. She'll help too in her own way.]

First thing to know about this place is that it's weird. Laws of nature and physics don't necessarily apply. We were all brought here by the Atroma who never really show themselves. They can bring people from anywhere and anywhen in the multiverse. Kurt—also on this ship—is from my world and he arrived about a month after I did, but he was from a few years into the future. And since the whole multiverse is open season you could end up seeing a Victor who lived a completely different life. Although that seems to happen to some people more than others. [It happens to her a lot. ~~Welcome to Marvel.~~ And breathe. There were other questions in there, right?]

Crews seem to be random, but you can put in requests for transfers anytime if you want. I was pulled here almost sixteen months ago from a different place where I'd been abducted by different mysterious overlords.

_{[The breathing worked and Yuri would easily follow along. Just laying down with his eyes shut would help. Victor laying with him helped add to the illusion that they were home. The uncomfortable mattress didn't, however.

But he tried to ignore it. He curled into Victor's chest.]}
