THE MELTING POT. A Catchall.
Who: Jarvis! But also anyone at The Melting Pot! A Mingle!
Broadcast: N/A
Action: at the new cafe/bistro, on the Iskaulit.
When: May and June catch-all? Or something.

Feel free to make open and closed threads here! Or if you're looking for Jarvis, feel free to add that information in the subject line. If you'd like a character to come in and look for work, feel free, Jarvis may set them up with work! Likewise, those he told he would help learn to cook dishes can stop by, too.

[ -- foregoing any sensible greeting, peggy snags the man by his elbow when he bustles his way past her booth. for a moment, just a moment, she feels almost transported back to the l&l. but the l&l's menu never boasted her name. nor, indeed, fondue. bloody hell. ]
Have a seat. [ peggy gestures at the bench across from her. she does, of course, have tea at her elbow. that much is certainly appreciated. whatever its name. ] Whatever you're rushing off to can wait a little bit longer.
[ it's jarvis and peggy time now. ]

This certainly feels a bit off from our usual seating arrangement.
[It's lovely to see you, friend, is what that means.]

peggy leans back a moment while jarvis takes his seat. she knows she ought to say something supportive -- about his efforts here, and the fruits of them. it is, after all, a rather impressive set-up. and she is proud of him, whatever flak she gives him now. ]
You put fondue on the menu.

Cheeky creature, he is.]
Extremely difficult to make, you know. With space ingredients! Imagine my tireless hours trying to perfect it in the dark of the Tourist kitchen. Bit of a Jekyll and Hyde scare.

[ well. ]
What a ridiculous dish.

[ yes, that's the problem with it. sure. ]

[or he just assumes that's the issue here, because howard.
He considers this all for a moment, thoughtful.]
... As much as I loathe to admit it, it would be nice to have a little of Mr. Stark's energy gracing the ships.
[Does he miss his bossfriend? Nonsense!!]

[ howard managed to systematically sleep through nearly a whole floor of the griffith before peggy locked him down. good god, the damage that man could do across star systems. ]

I imagine I would have to negotiate his release from the airlock area.

Though I'm still mystified at the string of women he leaves in his wake.
[Surely it must be some sort of pheromone thing.
Some deviously womanizing mutant gene.]
Oh! Silly me. Did you want anything, Miss Carter? Sitting at a booth makes me forget I'm supposed to be your waiter today.
no subject
but! the conversation moves onward. ]
Not the fondue, that's for certain. Tell me -- what dish currently has the most chance of not being utterly synthetic?
no subject
Well... I would say the potato casserole, or the goulash. We've an actual meat supply at the moment for goulash, instead of that pesky tofu substitute. However, I'm happy to say our egg omelette, while made with synthetic dairy, is actually surprisingly toe to toe with the same dish prepared in Mr. Stark's manor.
no subject
peggy reaches out and pats the back of jarvis's hand. ]
The goulash would be splendid. I remember quite liking it.
no subject
I would be more than happy to oblige, and I'm sure Miss Jarvis is suddenly too content at this very moment.
.... Would you like a Carter's Tea with it?
