[Sure, it was easy to get him out and into a cafe. He was bored just sitting in his room thinking about what to do around here. He had to get a routine, some sort of training if nothing else. But Victor's invitation came before all else. He had been asking about the menu though.]

They don't serve that weird gel stuff here? Hmm... hey they don't, you're right! It's all real food! [He skims down and pauses.]

Katsudon? Victor, they have Katsudon, did you see it!?

[He seems far too pleased when Yuri finds it.] They do! I asked them to put it on the menu.

I know we haven't won anything recently, but I feel like we can cheat just this once. To celebrate being together.

_{[He pauses when Victor says that. His expression disappears.]}

You... you requested this? For us? Victor... I..._{[He can't stop it, his eyes well up with tears but they don't fall. He grins.]}

Oh, Victor! Yes, we should.

[Victor reaches out and takes Yuri's hand.]

Good! I'm glad you like it. I doubt it will be like your mother's.

_{[He squeezes his hand. He wipes his eyes with the other]}

It doesn't matter. Victor... that's the nicest... that's the best thing you could have done for me right now. _{[He needed something from home, he needed to be comforted and Victor went a long way to helping him. This, however, was both comforting and just plain thoughtful. Sure, Victor loved katsudon the same as he did but... forgive him, dear, he's getting emotional.]}

[After a moment, Victor squeezes Yuri's hand lightly. He doesn't like to see tears in Yuri's eyes, but at least these aren't from anxiety, fear, or pain. At least, if there is pain it's an understandable level of homesickness.]

As long as we're careful, we can come back here when needed. I'd be willing to bend the rules about only eating katsudon after competitions. We can work it off in the dance studio if needed.

[His worries about Yuri's figure weren't as important as his worries that Yuri feel safe and comfortable here. If anything else, they could just work out twice as hard after eating here.]
