OTA - Be glad he's waiting and not cooking

Waiting
Arthur didn't exactly have the usual first job fast food diner experience, but this wasn't the first time he'd waited tables. The Brit was all smiles as he went about collecting orders and bringing around the meals once they were ready. Hosting, after all, was a skill he was particularly proud of.

"Are we ready to order, or would you like a few minutes more? Perhaps I could offer some suggestions if you'd like?"

Tea Break
Lords, he'd forgotten how tiring this was. Arthur slipped back to the wait station for his break, cradling a cup of tea in his hands to sip slowly.

"Still, not a bad way to spend an afternoon," he murmured to himself, or perhaps to anyone nearby.

Tea breaks should be absolutely a requirement of the day, Jarvis thinks.

He's got his own cup prepared, sitting carefully on a saucer, and offers Arthur a smile.

"You've done excellently today, Mr. Kirkland; I'm quite content with my company."

Pfft, only tea icon I have until I up his account back to paid.

Once they got back home, Arthur would be right on that. He was sure the Prime Minister would be in agreement.

For now though, there was a tinge of pink on his cheek for the compliment. "Thank you. I would have to say very much likewise. There's something to be said for the pleasure of a day's work."

"There truly is. It can get maddening, being still too long in this place."

He has to always be in motion! Stick to the schedule, keep things rolling!

Without a schedule, he's hardly a butler, even if he's not supposed to be here.

It's become a part of his livelihood he has a hard time separating from himself.

"After being so used to wrangling the others on top of my own work, I can agree with you completely," Arthur said with a little sigh. "The break was nice for a while, but it can hardly be called a holiday being here, can it? It's not even quiet."

"Quiet, no. Slow, sometimes." He grimaces, however. "... Though... I suppose after what happened with the raiders, I would prefer slow and quiet in contrast."

"Ah, yes, I suppose I can see that," he said, nodding. Being poorly prepared and poorly armed during an attack had rubbed Arthur in all the wrong ways, especially with his history. He couldn't doubt it'd be equally as horrible for his citizens. "We'll be better prepared should something similar happen again."
