Marsiva - action + network
[Waking with a start in an instinctual panic that takes away from her normally pretty features, the first few minutes of this girl on the feed are nothing new. She jumps up quickly to the unfamiliar surroundings knowing in her gut this is wrong and feeling she has to find a way out, to run home before the person responsible came back. But more and more, as the seconds pass, it becomes clearer to her the situation goes beyond an average kidnapping. There device filming her is something she first ignores thinking what any person from her world would: it is non-functioning and there only as a reminder of what was. She's smart though and soon sees it is actually filming her. She can imagine a few reasons why, like ensuring she wasn't laying in wait to jump out and fight if they came back, but she pushes the reasons she comes up with to the back of her mind so they don't away from her concentration. She locates the communications device as she is supposed to.

The panic on her features fade for forced calmness, courage. She stands there facing the screen, finding it in her to make a statement, before deciding to voice them to the world or whom ever was watching.]

I don't know why you took me. [She pauses for a moment, taking a breathe in. Clearly she doesn't remember how it happened either by the small uncertain look on her face.] But if you just let me go, I promise I won't cause you any trouble. No one will come bother you after. Do we have a deal?

SS Vanquish - action
[What good is one surprise without another? Just when she thinks she is getting her bearings with where she was, Enid teleports to the bridge of another place she doesn't recognize at all. The SS Vanquish. With the confetti, the tune of music meant to be welcoming, and cupcakes somehow in hand, she freezes in place with a look of shock, without batting an eyelash at anyone that approuch.]

[With visible hesitance, Enid considers the offer for a moment before granting a small nod.]

Mm. I guess I would like to. I have to see it anyway, right. And I don't mind potatoes. Better than nothing.

You'd be there eventually, yeah. Even if you don't want to do the job, you'll want to eat eventually.

[Natasha tips her head toward the door exiting the bridge.]

This way. There's a lot of "better than nothing." I'll give you the tour.

[She concedes a nod to that very point. She does not to eat like everybody else.

Turning her eyes towards the door, following not long after.]

If you say you have potatoes, I don't doubt that.

[Natasha doesn't rush, letting her take her time.]

Potatoes, beats—vodka? Yeah, better than nothing.

I'm Natasha. Don't think I caught your name?

Vodka? You make that here? [There is a bit of amusement in her asking.]

Oh no, we buy it. It's about the only alcohol that comes cheap at this stop.

[A shrug.]

Next time it'll be something else.

[There's a long pause before she speaks up again.]

The fleet makes stops at different planets, space stations—asteroids, this time. Things like that. They're all different.

[A soft huff, displaying a certain impatience.]

Between stops, we drift for a while. Usually about a week or so.

Oh.

[The slight bit of impatience does not go unnoticed so she decides to let that be the last question.]

I... That'll be something. [She says not exactly with the most enthusiasm, though with a little interest.]

[It's less for Enid and more for the situation. It gets old. Especially the drifting.]

Something is one word for it. There's always something.

[...In time she'll probably come to realize that.]

Always something where I'm from too. [She says, but she doesn't exactly elaborate.]

Yeah? [That gets a glance, a curiously quirked brow.] Hopefully not usually aliens and kidnapping.

Mmhm. Nothing that bizarre. [Because what their situation now was that.]

But don't want to tell me what the somethings that came up were.

[Which is fine, as far as Natasha is concerned. She won't pry.

Enid has enough on her plate without that.]

It's not the kind of things people usually believe without seeing...

[Sort of like their current situation, she thinks. Enid looks at Natasha carefully though trying to gauge how much the woman wanted to know and how much she thought she could handle. Honestly, she couldn't really read her though.]

No. Not really.

[Natasha's lips twitch at the first comment.]

You might be surprised how many people come from worlds where the unbelievable happen.

[Well... as much as she really didn't want to think that was true, this situation was unbelievable in and of itself.]

Yeah? I ... just don't really know where to start in sharing how my world is like.
