He doesn't want to annoying them with his constant bouncing and shuffling. The treadmill in the cargo hold lasted all of three days before the boredom got to him.

Ah... well I idolized him before, he's the one who inspired me to start skating. I wanted to be just like him... we did meet by skating. He actually became my coach and things... went from there.
