Who: Vash and you!
Broadcast:
Action: On the planet Mor
When: Anytime!
[Vash was having fun on the tourist planet. Even getting into the spirit and finding some clothes that help him fit in a bit better. The illusion just wasn't fun enough for him.
The first few days Vash tries to lay low. Get a feel for the town and the people in it, but soon enough he's relaxing into his old habits of the aimless drifter he was back home. Vash can be found chasing children with a black, ragged robe over his shoulders shouting about how he was the "Black Knight" here to catch and kill them all! That is until the "White Knight" child of the day bravely stands up to him and "kills" the evil Black Knight!
Or perhaps you'll run into Vash as he's helping out at a restaurant washing dishes to make some money for the inn he's staying at. That and the drinks he buys after work at the tavern. The tavern is a very popular place for Vash to hang out at.
Another activity Vash has become very interested in is the archery. He's never used a bow and arrow before, but without his trusty revolver he likes the idea of staying sharp in his targeting abilities. It only takes Vash a few test shots before he gets the hang of the motion (having a mechanical arm doesn't hurt either.) In the open with the trainer he found he doesn't always hit the bull eyes every time, but he's still very good. Although, if someone caught him practicing on his own in the forest they may just catch Vash doing some trick shots and hitting the target's bull eyes every time that he hung up and set up in various trees. Someone doesn't like to show off where people can easily see him.
For the most part Vash is trying to keep out of trouble and having lots of fun eating the food and drinking the ale available! Until one night...
It's hard to tell exactly how or why it got started, but the tavern explodes in shouting late one night. Three figures end up spilling out the door, punches and curses flying and the man stuck in the middle crying out for mercy. Of course, by the time Law Enforcement show up to break up the fight the story is that Vash had thrown himself into the fight and no one really knows how it started so all three are sent to the stocks to think about their foolish behavior and to sober up.]
Oh man. I just wanted a quiet night! I'm going to be late to work tomorrow! I don't want to get fired... awwwwww and what if the chief sees me like this?
[Vash will be whining about his fate as a black eye forms on his face. Come laugh at him, join in with some village members throwing rotten fruit at him, or help him from his fate. At least he'll be out after a day?]

She tapped the collar at her throat to see if it was one of her fellow Fleet members in the fray. He was wearing the same clothing, but he had a device on just as she did, so she decided to assume he was.
She drifted up to the man, frowning and reaching out.]
Hey, are you okay?
no subject
Hahahaha! Yeah! Luckily no one had weapons on them. So nothing too bad happened! Something about a split drink I think.
[Yup. He doesn't even know himself what the fight had been about.]
no subject
Still, it looks like you're a little hurt- do you need patching up?
no subject
[Too bad for Vash even if Jennifer (for some strange reason) wanted to kiss him better, she won't get the chance to as there's a guard approaching the two now.] You there! We have questions for you!
[And by questions it sounds more like arrest.]
no subject
I'm spoken for, but if you really think that'll help, I'm sure Rodney wouldn't mind...
[She then looked up at the approaching guard and gulped. She'd hate for this poor man to get thrown in jail, but she was also worried about breaking the charade... but her conscience won out.]
Uhm- he's hurt. Will this take very long?
no subject
[Vash chuckles but the guard sure doesn't look amused at all.] Well, to tell you the truth, I'm not really sure. I kinda somehow got sucked into the middle of all that. Hahaha! Isn't that funny? [Vash may find it funny but the look on the guy's face sure doesn't seem to agree as he looks back over at his partners arguing with two angry drunk men.
What a headache for his shift. He should just put them all in the stocks if they don't want to talk.]

stocks
[One of the villagers turns to him and offers him a tomato, which he accepts sort of robotically. Hey, if he refuses, they might decide to throw stuff at him, right? He turns his eyes back to the three men in the stocks, and notices that one of them seems to be wearing the same modulator he's wearing. Oh, this one's a visitor? Is he from the Fleet?
[Maybe he can bank himself a favor. It's worth a try, right? He holds up one hand to stall the throwing of fruit for a moment and approaches the man with the haystack of yellow hair.]
So what'cha in for?

A misunderstanding? [He looks a bit dubious.] Must have been quite a to-do to get you thrown in the stocks. [He leans on the wooden frame.] I miiight have an idea to get them to stop, but it would involve drawing a bit of attention to myself, you see. [He examines his nails a moment, then looks back at the man.] So... I just want to make sure it'd be worth the effort, you know?
no subject
Huh? Wouldn't knowing you helped a man in need be worth the effort?
no subject
Are you truly in need, though? You say it was a misunderstanding, but how do I know I'm not potentially aiding and abetting a criminal?
no subject
[The two others in the stocks next to Vash just scoff.] Guys?

Stocks

...Yeah he'll just like...poke at your nose with it. ]
Do you want me to spring you?
no subject
[Oh wait! Offer of freedom! Sokka is now the most brilliant person ever! He LOVES that stick.] Do you think you could!? Because I'm pretty sure this is really bad for my back.
no subject
[Sokka makes a thoughtful noise, then wanders closer, peering at the locks. ]
Hmmm, maybe. [Just gonna get his tools and start poking at it. ]

tavern
he's actually got a lot going on in his head, so he's not quite as bubbly as he usually is while out drinking. it's much harder to lose yourself in partying here, than it had been on the vice moon.
the little elf is doing what he can to stay ahead of his own thoughts, distracted as he puts away drinks at yet another tavern, so his guard is a little low. he jumps in surprise when he's wandering through the crowd and almost bumps into his crewmate.]
--Oh! Hey... I didn't know you were here.
tavern
Still he hadn't noticed the change in Nel. Of course, this he also won't mention out loud. Instead he grins wildly and shouts loudly as he always would at spotting Nel at a bar.]
HEYYYYYYYY! Wasn't expecting to see you here! I haven't been to this place yet! But isn't it wonderful!? The beers are pretty cheap at this place! Come catch up with me!
forest
luckily, he's sneaking into the clearing from behind Vash instead of the front, so he's in no danger of getting shot.
...he does have an excellent view of Vash's excellent marksmanship, however.]
forest
Instead he's more interested in a leaf that has begun to fall. He pulls his bow string back and releases almost immediately. The arrow sails through the sky, strike the leaf dead center, before embedding itself in a target Vash had set up across the way. He didn't like the idea of sinking the arrows into the trees.]
forest
this is who had been tripping over himself during the snowball fight, hmm?
he tries to get a little closer, and his sneaking skills are formidable... but not perfect. especially with his attention mostly on the marksmanship and only one eye to keep track of where he's going, it's only a matter of time before he steps on a twig that audibly snaps under his weight.]
