everybody's starstruck in june.
Who: starstruck crew & visitors
Broadcast: n/a
Action: aboard the ship
When: june
[ another month; another mingle. but there are changes in the air! the starstruck has some fresh crew to boast of, as well as a spiffing new lounge. things have been difficult, lately -- the common area might make for a great place to decompress and socialize with your fellow starstruckers.
after all, it seems the captain's gone and requisitioned max's record player. for the first week in june, it'll be returned again and again to the new lounge. good luck hiding it from her, rockatanksy.
ready steady go! ]

[Max has a pretty good well of memories, though.]
Not really something you can drink anymore, anyway.

[A little bit of a smile. There's a part of Natasha that learned that lesson well. You enjoy what you have while it's there. You try not to miss it when it's not, because eventually it will be.]
I know the last system had root beer, at least.

[It reminds him of the rather morbid conversation with Peggy. Him, admitting if he went back to his world with his memories, he'd be as good as dead. Dead because he's not made of the right stuff to survive like he'd survived before. Little things like this fortify it, make it feel more real, more obvious.
Ah well.]
Huh.
Could fill a storage unit with it. Barrels of it.

[Natasha shrugs, her smile mild, accepting his suggestion whether it's a joke or serious.]
Imagine the possibilities.

[Said with the straightest face ever, as he at last pours himself some soda pop.]

It's a big sacrifice to make. I can see why you'd have to think about it.

Let me know if you ever clear yours out, I'll trade you barrels, too.
[Congrats on getting to the 'joking about dead bodies' level with Max.]

Well. It'll be a while before I start pulling out my skeletons.

[He's not one to skirt around his thoughts.
Bluntness is part of Wasteland code.]
... And maybe a lot of coffee cans.

She doesn't comment on it either, at least not directly.]
I toss out the cans when I'm done with them.

[max for fuck's sake, recycling is great but-]
