[ Maglor is sitting in one of the rooms just off the garden in Iskaulit - a dark room, where a small little sapling is glowing. Yes. It's not your imagination. The little tree is glowing. (So is Maglor, but the fleet should be used to their glowy elves by now). ]

Milady Makie is asleep, so I thought I should make this announcement on her behalf - as per the wishes of Doctor Beverly Crusher, we thought it would be good to have a memorial in the gardens for those who leave us. The tree is still very young, but you are welcome to come and leave candles or simply to sit and remember. The gardens remain open to all, as well, despite the good Doctor leaving.

Please feel free to come and if you wish to help, anything would be welcome.

[ He reaches to turn off the feed and then pauses ]

Ah, and if anyone wishes any forgework done, the forge should be finished, soon. Please contact me, Sokka, or my brother Maedhros or cousin Fingon, if you wish anything.

(He purposefully draws the silver back out, running his flesh fingers through it.) What a beautiful contrast.

[ He flushes shyly, fidgeting ]

(He hums and draws out a ribbon, beginning the first braid.)

Nelyo! [ He flushes and ducks a little before remembering to sit still ]

(He laughs softly, fingers pausing briefly in their task.)

I'm not. It is as if you have been kissed by one of Telperion's flowers.

[ Maglor can feel the way his ears are hot and knows he must be red ]

(He pretends not to see that flush of color.)

Honesty. I want to bring it out more with these ribbons; that is why I chose silver.

[ He fidgets shyly ]

(He kisses the silver strands, finishing off the first braid.)

For what? My handsome brother should be prouder of his looks.

Me? (His nose wrinkles.) Unless you like scars, I don't see the draw.

[ He laughs ]

I am told that human ladies quite like scars!

(Ah there might be an issue with that, though Maedhros chuckles to hide it.)

I must hide them in that case.

[ A wicked little grin ]

I know some people who are good with makeup~

I would look very silly. (He winces at the thought.)

[ Walked right into his trap there, Maedhros ]

Oh I don't know~ [ Maglor teases ] I think you might look quite fetching.

(It has been sprung and he cannot escape!)

I have no reason to look fetching. Besides, that isn't the point!

[ He laughs and stops teasing, reaching for Maedhros' fingers fondly ]

No real reason, Nelyo. But the theatre makeup... Lady Riona is very good - she can create scars as well as hide them, you know.

(He flushes and slides their fingers together.)

I do miss seeing myself without them.

Nelyo is Nelyo, with or without, and always beautiful to me.

[ Maglor squeezes his hand gently ]
