[Lance stops, looking down, and mumbles to himself.]

Yes, there are cameras on us 24/7. Right now you're in the Marsiva, that's the reception ship. You'll be assigned to your own ship by the end of the week. I'm in the Blameless, Keith is in the Huntress. [It's like they chose those names on purpose for them, geez.] What augment did you get?

[They really landed those ship names well, but at least Lance doesn't comment on Blameless, and for that he's thankful.

He shakes his head.] Nobody knows, or we would've broken them already. we got pilot too, by the way, so it's very likely that you'll be sent to a different ship from us. Pilots are important so take care of the crew you get, got it? We'll take about possible transfers in the future.

[Proud smile for Lance! Now that's how a fighting pilot should behave.

Nodding.] We can visit each other all the time, on our ships or in the Iskaulit - that's the mall craft. We go down to the planets we stop by too.

[He's happy to hear that they aren't restricted to their respective ships, but his face falls at that last part.]

Sorry. But no brainwashing. There were aquatic people, and a sickness we helped with. Don't worry, Lance, I'm sure we'll land on a beach sooner or later. You could help save money for a pool on the Iskaulit too.

We'd better. And when we do, we're all going swimming. Heck, if we save up for a pool, when we get it, we are all going swimming. And then I can kick Keith's butt because I bet he doesn't even know how to swim.

[A pause. He only mentioned the pool because he wanted to cheer Lance up. He does miss swimming, but he isn't gong to do it again anyway time soon, no without a t-shirt anyway.]

Keith does know how to swim, Lance. Can't it be fun swimming instead of competing swimming?
