Who: Lance and you!
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Marsiva
When: 6/6
[Life hasn't made sense in a long time for him. Ever since the day that Shiro returned to Earth and they found the Blue Lion, it had been one crazy thing after another to the point where he never knew what the next minute would bring. How long has it been? Months? How many?
And then, of course, this has to happen. He paces around the deck he's on, still clad in his armor, looking extremely worried.]
Quiznak. Not good, not good. This is a joke, right? Some really, really elaborate practical joke that Coran's playing on us. Which, dude, not the time or the place! But if this really is real and I didn't just hit my head super hard and went into another coma...
[He covers his face with his hands and groans.]
I gotta save the universe, not be in Big Brother in space! I have to find Blue somehow. I don't care what that dumb computer says, there's got to be some way out of here, or at least to get in contact with the others... There has to be.
[Lance stops, looking down, and mumbles to himself.]
I don't want to be here alone.

Eyes fill with pride when he hears those words - Lance is thinking about saving the universe, about their responsibilities. He's come a long way. Shiro's voice is soft when he answers.]
It's no joke, and sadly there is no way to call or go home. But you aren't alone either. Hey, Lance.
no subject
Well, more importantly is the last place he didn't see Shiro, and that was in Black's cockpit.]
Shiro?! You're--you're here, you're really here, you're okay!!!
no subject
You also just came from striking Zarkon, huh. [He says it casually, keeping his usual calm, but it's his smooth way to try and check what Lance knows. Leave it to Shiro to always concentrate on the serious stuff, but that doesn't mean he'll ignore Lance's feelings.] Yes, I'm ok. No need to worry. Keith has already filled me in about that. Are you okay?

If there were a way out, none of those who vanished could be bothered to share it.
[She's not entirely sure they managed to escape either, but she does at least have the sense to avoid deliberately terrifying the newbies with her less-than-optimistic take on the situation.]
I am also unaware of any means to contact anyone from whatever universe we came from. If that were possible, daddy would have sent a fleet to annihilate the Atroma months ago.
no subject
Daddy? Uh, are you the kid of a general or something?
[Please don't be a Galra...]
no subject
[Mostly because their planet kind of blasted itself back into the feudal ages.]
I am Princess Looma of House Red Wind, daughter of Warlord Gar. Most matters involving our forces fall under my authority, as there is rarely any need for him to intervene personally.
But taking me is a slight he would not allow to go unpunished. And in this situation, I see no reason to advocate for leniency.
no subject
[He's not great with first impressions with princesses.]
Do you think he has the resources to find you? I don't really know anything about, uh, your house or your pops or anything.
no subject
Which means every indication suggests were are outside the known galaxy, at the very least.
[She also suspects there's Alternate Universe shenanigans afoot, but she'll leave that explanation to the more science-y types.]
Video
Keith was pissed. But it wasn't Lance's fault, so he made sure he was calm before answering. There was no point in starting this off on a tense note, even if they weren't exactly the best at getting along with each other.]
Hey... Lance, you're not alone. And you'll be off that ship in a few days, and we can meet up then, okay?
no subject
[Just going to...ignore that Keith apparently "overheard" him mumbling to himself about being alone.]
Shiro's here, did you see? Jeez. That takes a weight off our shoulders, huh? Except with the whole, you know, us being stuck here for now thing. But at least we know he's okay, yeah?
[They were all panicking when Black's cockpit showed up empty, but he knew Keith took it the hardest for obvious reasons.]
I'm sure the three of us together can figure some way to get back.
no subject
I don't think it's like that. From what it sounds like, us being here doesn't affect things back home, though, I'm not really positive on that, yet. So, even if we do find a way to get all three of us out of here, I'm not sure that it's going to get Shiro back to the Castle of Lions of just land him wherever he was after he disappeared from the Black Lion.
We're probably still going to have to go looking for him when we get back.
no subject
Well, then we'll just use our time here to strategize! From the sounds of it, we don't have to deal with the Galra here, so we have all the time until we find a way back to figure out where to start looking for Shiro if it comes down to that.
no subject
Yeah. That's not a bad idea.
[Not that Keith had a single damn lead to start from, but sure. He could try to be optimistic about this in the face of such a bleak outlook.]

Welcome to the fleet. [ ... ] Sorry, yeah, it sucks.
no subject
[He's quiet for a little bit before giving a sheepish smile.]
Uh, thanks for the welcome, though.
no subject
it took her a moment to recognize the armour, but then it's a quick hop to pair colour with function and shiro's said just enough about his team that it all clicks into place when lance mentions another member. ]
I mean, there's probably more than one leg...
[ she doesn't really know how this works, actually. ]
no subject
Well, yeah, it'd be weird if a giant robot was just hopping around on one foot. Meet the right leg of Voltron! The name's Lance.
[Highly dumb of him to just go shouting about who he is, likely, but there's got to be some sort of reason she sort of recognizes him, right?]

Video;
Blue's a space lion, yeah? Robot space lion?
[Just to make sure, he still doesn't understand how the hell Voltron works. ]
Iiiif that's the case, you're not alone, well, you're alone right now, because you're on the Marsiva, unless some other newbie is there with you. But once you get out, Shiro and Keith are here.
....Unless you're someone completely random which you know, disregard all that and hi?
no subject
[He's gathered that much with the information he's been given, and thankfully, he's spoken to his teammates here already.]
I think I'm the person you're thinking of. Shiro and Keith probably mentioned me, if you know them, but ignore everything Keith said about me. That's, like, just a good method to go by in general.
no subject
[Sorry, Shiro and Keith, Water Tribes gotta Water. ]
So you're Lance, huh? Yeah, they said some things. I'm Sokka, currently captaining the Blue Fish. Which...doesn't actually turn into a giant robot fish which is a shame because that'd be pretty awesome.
no subject
It's great to meet you, Sokka. I haven't been assigned to any ship, kind of just meandering around what I'm figuring is the welcome area. That's lame though about the lack of giant robot fish, though. If this is seriously a reality show, why wouldn't they put that in for ratings?
no subject
Yeah, you'll be on the Marsiva. Everyone wakes up on there before getting dumped onto whatever ship Atroma want.
I KNOW, right? A giant robot fish would really spice things up. But noooo they get their ratings by trying to make us miserable. Because apparently misery sells better than giant robots. I don't buy it.
