[Tyrion's face appears on the screen, scarred and faintly bemused, as he peers at the feed, then shifts something off to the side. Some sort of computing device. He shifts it again, and the screen changes, narrows, with a small bit of scripts running along the top. He sighs, shakes his head a little.]

I need someone who has the communications augment. This ... this is not secure enough. It is secure, but not secure absolutely. Which is what we require.

[He grumbles, and goes back to fiddling with wires.]

Mmhmm. Is this about the Marsiva canon or about a certain new arrival to the fleet?

[And now his eyes are narrowing suspiciously.]

You haven't seen? [It also wasn't long ago of course.] Daenerys. She's back. She doesn't remember being here before.

[Everything in Tyrion stills, before he pressed his lips together. A dry laugh escapes his lips.]

[She looks at hm curiously.] You know, I could just come over and you could worry about the encryption less. [Unless he wants to seek her out now which she'd understand.]

I ... [He is silent for a moment, before he sighs.] I would prefer your company now, if you are not currently busy.

I've got nothing but time. I'll be right over. I'll find you.

[Does he look a little shaken? Good because he feels shaken to his core.]

I'll be there soon. Hang in there. [She hates to leave him when he looks like that, but she'll get there faster not on the comms. She'll hurry, but it will still be a few minutes before she arrives and makes her way to the engine room where she expect him to be.] Tyrion?

[He is sitting in his Engineering office, his jaw tight as he looks at the recorded feed of Daenrys.]

I suppose it was too much to ask that she would remember this.

[A sigh.] I suppose I should be happy she is here at all, shouldn't I?

[She'll just wordlessly slip her arms around him.] I fully understand feeling both things. [Because she'd be miserable and overjoyed if Winn returned without memories of her.]

How, um...how close had you gotten with her before she left?

Close enough to consider possibilities, not so close that we actually acted on them.

It probably helps that I wasn't into her. Which I assume you, Winn, and her all appreciate. And I'm awesome.

We all do immensely. All things considered. [He smirked faintly.] And you are, indeed, quite awesome.

I'm glad you've noticed. [She kisses the top of his head.] Are you going to reach out to her?

Of course I will. Once I confirm that it really is her.

[He had been fooled before. He hugged Kitty a little tighter than usual.]

It looked like she was on the Marsiva. That's harder to fake if you're already busy being a shapeshifter.

[Tight hugs are good. Whatever he needs and she's not exactly turning them down lately herself.]

[He wants to believe. That's the foolish part of it all. He hugs her tighter, for both of them.]

I would be this through if it was Winn, you know.

Good. Someone should be. I'd be trying to get Khadgar and Kurt to teleport me to the Marsiva which would almost definitely not work and end up getting all of us hurt.

But also...there is such a thing as too much suspicion.

More than likely. Of course most of the things I am doing now will end up getting me hurt - so - perhaps I am not the best judge of how one should react when one is traumatized.

[He snorts softly.] No, no there is not.

What are you doing that's so dangerous? [Concerned.]

[He gestured to the encryption engine, with a faint smirk.]

I am fairly certain this is not working, and I am even more certain that it is going to backfire on me personally. However ... I have to try.

How would it backfire? Are you worried about the Atroma taking action against you?
