[This was not his bunk, and he was not getting woken up in the manner he normally did; which was three hungry kitten voices complaining Remy hadn’t gotten up early enough to feed them. It was rather nice actually, getting to sleep in a bit without the sounds of others moving around the ship or pets bouncing around outside his door and running up and down the halls. Though if he thought about it, Remy would think it was all too quiet…

Peeking an eye open and letting it search around, he quickly recognized this as not his room on the Wonderduck, or Kirk’s on the Tourist. It was a room he hadn’t seen for quite some time; the Marsiva, and that, that didn’t make sense. Pushing himself upright to sit on the bunch, he ran a hand through his hair to try and move it into something resembling neatness while his other went searching for his com. Giving into his vanity and taking a moment to make sure he was semi presentable, he hit the buttons to send out a video.]

So, did I miss a notice or something ‘bout us switching up ships? Would be nice if they gave us some warnin’ rather than movin’ us ‘round places. Also ‘ssume m’ three brats be stored ‘way somewhere safe, guessin’ the pet clinic on here. 'til I know what's goin' on, think will be makin' most of the coffee on board.

'll hold ya to that, petite, I might take it personally if ya don't. [But there was no real threat or hurt behind that, it paired up with a grin and wink to emphasis the joke.]

Oh, it will be so personal if I don't. [Joking.] And probably good for me to get out more.

[A happy chuckle to go with that before Remy raised a curious eyebrow at her.] Aww, what's up Kitty cat, gettin' a bit of cabin fever stuck in the ship? Would thought ya'll had a planet not too long 'go.

Asteroid belt. [She corrects quietly before pausing a bit.] Winn disappeared. Not too long ago. [Keeping her words steady. She's glad for that much.]

[Remy shrugged off the difference until she continued, both his expression and tone softening to that news. He hadn't known Winn that well, but knew how important he had been to her.] Aww Kitty, 'm sorry. [If she wasn't getting a hug before for being back, she certainly is getting one once he got off this ship and back onto another one.] I can offer to make a really bad for ya, but mostly chocolaty cake, when I get out, dependin' on what ship I get sent to 'nd what they got in their kitchen to work with.

[At some point he might notice she's wearing a ring now when she wasn't before. It is an engagement ring, but not the most traditional sort since it has blue stones. Their favorite color. Also not the most traditional way to come by one since she found it going through his belongings. There wasn't a proposal.] I would say you don't have to do that, but when terrible chocolate cake is on the line, how can I say now? Winn would be disappointed if I did.

Will do one better, see if we can steal a bottle so we can do cake 'nd alcohol. [Losing a loved one was... insanely hard, and Remy easily sympathized with her, wanting to offer some comfort but unsure how he could for her. Was it best to take some time out and offer an ear, or just let her be and carry on how she was?

Then again, he was well use to gambling.] 'nd an ear, if ya need one to listen as well.

Good. Everyone else is getting tired of me talking about him. [She smiles, trying to keep it light. It still doesn't feel light to her. Might never feel light. It's hard.] Of course if I'm drunk and full of sugar you might really hear some things.

Ya know, that be a risk 'm willin' to take for a friend. [A warm smile in return to her own, also willing to play along with any part she wanted to take up and which might help her cope with it.] Promise, once I get back to a ship, 'll let ya know. Ya can help me settle back in 'nd 'll pay ya back in the good ol' Southern way of stuffin' ya full of food 'nd drink.
