I know you can fall asleep and suddenly remember more from home. Didn't think that stuff would still happen if they're just memories.

Has that happened to anyone else? Waking up with something new?

[ For those on the Red Fish who have paid attention, Carl has been absent for a few days. Only tucked into his bed, but still. If they're quick enough, they could catch him sneaking his way to the medical bay, head tucked toward his chin and hair covering his face. Hiding something? Of course not, there's nothing to hide!

Afterward, he'll be out wandering the halls, white bandage covering half his face and looking a little older than he was when he went to sleep. Still the same twerp, though. ]

No, I'm okay. It's mostly healed, anyway.

Kind of concerning right? Go to sleep and everything's fine. Wake up a few days later and suddenly half your face is gone.

Did you just tell me half of your face is gone, but you're okay? [Worried.]

Okay, actual healing aside, are you feeling okay? [Because that seems like a lot to cope with and even if he has back home she's not sure how it's going with the overlap of fleet memories.]

I guess? Mostly it'll just take getting used to again.

[ He's still sorting out the mental clutter and rearranging things so they make sense. It's not going as well as planned, but hey, he just woke up. ]

Does it normally feel like this? Waking up feeling like it's been longer?

I don't know. I can't get those updates. [You know, for reasons.] But from what it sounds like it's a weird layering affect where you have to try and sort it all out.

I hope the answers helped. Even if they do boil down to the Atroma pretty much being able to do whatever they want to us. [It's also possible it's a glitch, but not likely and she's not sure she should bring it up.]
