[ Alisha's seen a lot of things she thought might have just been impossible or nonexistent, but this definitely takes the cake. What she sees around her when she awakens is techonology that is completely and totally alien to her. It takes a while to relax a little after she wakes up, finally taking the time to address others when she's more aware of the situation.

When the device does turn on, it's quite close to her face - she looks to it for a moment or so before backing away, her voice quiet. ] --It's on? I thank you for your help. [ She says quietly before blinking upwards at the person in front of her. ] It's close? I-- thank you. [ Her face flushes a light shade of pink before she places it at where it's farther from her. ]

... My apologies. [ She's not exactly used to the situation here. ]

Good afternoon.

I've been told about the situation here, and that others have been made captive to be in this "show" as well as myself. I may not be familiar with the technology here, but I want to offer whatever assistance I can to those here. Please, I'd like to know more about anything I can. ... What exactly do they mean by show? And have our captors showed themselves?

[ No one seems to know or want to tell her about them... It's cowardly for them to do something like this, only to hide themselves. ]

Ah- Alisha!

[It's her! Sorey didn't want to see her stuck here but it's so good to hear her voice! Especially since-

-oh lords. Especially since, according to what Zaveid told him, he'll never hear her voice back home again. Sorey tries to keep his voice from cracking at the sudden realization that he really will never see his human friends again, that this might be his last chance to talk to Alisha again.] It's- It's so good to see you...!

[ Alisha blinks in some surprise when she sees Sorey before she offers a smile. ]

Sorey! I can say the same. It's good to see you. [ She hadn't expected anyone from home to be here after she'd seen next to no one she recognized on The Marsiva. But, it is a little distressing to see that the shepherd here, even though she's glad to see him, too... ]

How have you been faring here?

[Okay, now that he's gathered himself a little bit better than before. Ahhh, leaving before saying goodbye had been such a mistake...but he hadn't wanted to distract her when she was working so hard and had so much to do... HECK]

I've been just fine. I'm more concerned about you, are you okay? I was so disoriented when I first got here, are you alright?

I'll be alright. [ This is definitely a tough situation, but she's been through worse, as far as she's concerned, anyways... It helps that she's had a moment to collect herself. ]

When you first got here? Then... Have you been here for a while, Sorey? Are Lord Mikleo and the others with you?

Oh gosh...yes and no? It's hard to explain...

[He scratches a hand through his hair. How does he even begin? He doesn't want to pile anything ridiculous onto her when she's still trying to get her bearings.] Well, um, I guess I've been here about a year, but I've also been back home. You wouldn't have noticed me missing or anything, or Mikleo, or anybody else. Zaveid, Dezel and Edna are here, but Lailah...is back home.

[ She has to do a double take at that. A year...? But, that can't be possible, can it? ]

I don't mean to doubt you, but... is it truly possible that you've been gone for that long? I only just saw you a day ago. [ And... what does it mean for all of them if Lailah's still at home? Will she be alright? ]

I know, it's really weird! When I was in Glenwood, I didn't remember being here but when I came back here, I remembered everything! I promise Alisha, I really have been here that long.

You left and came back? ... Everything about this situation becomes more and more curious.

It kind of feels live I've been living two lives for the past year, honestly. Sometimes you just have to try not to think too hard on it.

Besides, I'm the same Sorey you've always known, so. That's not changed any.

Without Lady Lailah here, have your pacts with the others still stayed the same...?

[ She smiles at his next words. She's glad to see that being here for so long hasn't changed him, but... that's just Sorey for you. ]

You've always been able to look on the bright side of things.

For the most part. If someone's not here, they feel...distant, I guess is the best way to put it. And if any of them are on different ships then I won't feel them in my domain, and they won't be able to just come over and dwell in me.

But I can still feel them. And I think I can feel our pact too, so I think you've still got it. I'll be able to tell better once we can get on the same ship though.

That does make sense, but... It sounds as though you've all been able to travel with one another, in the end. I'm relieved. [ As unfortunate as it was that they were away from home, she's glad that Sorey was able to find the others and vice versa. ] ... Still, has everyone been alright, then? [ She doesn't know a great deal about malevolence, but she does know the basics of it, at least. Whether or not it works the same here is her guess - it's something Sorey would know though, she's sure. ]

I'm not sure I understand. The pact's been broken, hasn't it?

I thought so too. Lailah did reforge it when we met back up, but I thought she'd released it when we made it back to Lastonbell. Still, I can definitely feel something. [Maybe it's something like an echo? He'd never felt anything like that back home before when he visited her in Ladylake, though.] We'll have to experiment with it when you can leave that ship.

That's a sound plan. [ She can't help but smile at that. She can't help but be happy that the pact is reforged here. After all, that means that she can help more here (or, so she hopes), along with the fact that she can hear and see the others again. ]

I'll look forward to it - and seeing the others again, as well.

I know everyone will be really happy to see you too. Ah, not that I'm happy you got stuck here also, but- oh, you know what I mean. [HE'S JUST HAPPY TO SEE HER AGAIN OKAY, he thought he'd never get to, let him live]
