[ Alisha's seen a lot of things she thought might have just been impossible or nonexistent, but this definitely takes the cake. What she sees around her when she awakens is techonology that is completely and totally alien to her. It takes a while to relax a little after she wakes up, finally taking the time to address others when she's more aware of the situation.

When the device does turn on, it's quite close to her face - she looks to it for a moment or so before backing away, her voice quiet. ] --It's on? I thank you for your help. [ She says quietly before blinking upwards at the person in front of her. ] It's close? I-- thank you. [ Her face flushes a light shade of pink before she places it at where it's farther from her. ]

... My apologies. [ She's not exactly used to the situation here. ]

Good afternoon.

I've been told about the situation here, and that others have been made captive to be in this "show" as well as myself. I may not be familiar with the technology here, but I want to offer whatever assistance I can to those here. Please, I'd like to know more about anything I can. ... What exactly do they mean by show? And have our captors showed themselves?

[ No one seems to know or want to tell her about them... It's cowardly for them to do something like this, only to hide themselves. ]

[It's her! Sorey didn't want to see her stuck here but it's so good to hear her voice! Especially since-

-oh lords. Especially since, according to what Zaveid told him, he'll never hear her voice back home again. Sorey tries to keep his voice from cracking at the sudden realization that he really will never see his human friends again, that this might be his last chance to talk to Alisha again.] It's- It's so good to see you...!

[ Alisha blinks in some surprise when she sees Sorey before she offers a smile. ]

Sorey! I can say the same. It's good to see you. [ She hadn't expected anyone from home to be here after she'd seen next to no one she recognized on The Marsiva. But, it is a little distressing to see that the shepherd here, even though she's glad to see him, too... ]

[Okay, now that he's gathered himself a little bit better than before. Ahhh, leaving before saying goodbye had been such a mistake...but he hadn't wanted to distract her when she was working so hard and had so much to do... HECK]

I've been just fine. I'm more concerned about you, are you okay? I was so disoriented when I first got here, are you alright?

I'll be alright. [ This is definitely a tough situation, but she's been through worse, as far as she's concerned, anyways... It helps that she's had a moment to collect herself. ]

When you first got here? Then... Have you been here for a while, Sorey? Are Lord Mikleo and the others with you?

Oh gosh...yes and no? It's hard to explain...

[He scratches a hand through his hair. How does he even begin? He doesn't want to pile anything ridiculous onto her when she's still trying to get her bearings.] Well, um, I guess I've been here about a year, but I've also been back home. You wouldn't have noticed me missing or anything, or Mikleo, or anybody else. Zaveid, Dezel and Edna are here, but Lailah...is back home.

[Being a seraph means she can't be seen over the communicators, but her voice carries. And she can't let the Squire to show up and not say anything to her.

In fact, she and Rose are probably the only people in her acquaintance both here and back on Desolation that she's not angry and/or disappointed with on multiple levels.]

It's about time you showed up. You're late.

[She hasn't thought up a dance or some other stupid thing just yet. Give her time.]

As for the captors, they remain elusive. [Which she thinks they're smart for doing, you know, avoiding their entire captive cast of unwitting actors.] And by show... think of it as a play being broadcast over screens sort of like the ones we're using right now.

[ ... Wait, she knows that voice. She stutters a little when she speaks, surprise evident in her tone. ]

Lady Edna-- Is that you...? [ Right now, she isn't Sorey's squire, so... how can she hear her..? ]

... I see. Do we know why they stay in hiding? If they have as much power and technology as they do, it makes them all the more mysterious that they would elude us as they are.

[It's so nice to be appreciated again. And probably a good thing that Alisha can't see her smile.]

Who else would it be? Where you expecting someone else?

[Her voice sounds annoyed, but that's an affectation she perfected a long time ago. Besides, it'll probably make the girl squirm.]

I can't answer that. We were contacted a little while by a group of other people, but the Atroma exist but don't really communicate with us from what I've seen. Although, I've really only been here a month myself. You'd be better off asking Sorey and the others, I guess. They've been here a lot longer.

[And there's some bitterness attached to that, but she's not going in to it. Not with Alisha and sure as hell not over the communicators.]

My apologies. I was just surprised to hear you. But, I'm glad, as well. The last time I had a chance to speak with you, it was before my pact with Sorey was broken.

[ So, hearing Edna was a surprise. A pleasant surprise. Would she be fortunate enough to be able to see her, too...? ]

... I see. So, it's as I suspected. If they haven't communicated with us, and vice versa, then am I right in assuming that there's no way to contact them, as well?

[ She knows that Sorey's been here for a while, and it's still rather odd to think about -- considering that it hadn't been long since she'd last seen him, but.... ]

A lot longer-- then, did you also just recently arrive here, Lady Edna?

Yeah, well, evidently spiritual resonance plays a big part on these ships too. The devices don't pick up our bodies, but they can get our voices and we can send text messages across as well. If you want to see us, you'll have to come visit.

[And that long ago, huh? So long ago. The pact had been renewed and disintegrated anew since then. But, you know what? Still nice to see someone she learned to respect through her own strength of spirit.]

I dunno if there's no way to contact them. Like I said, I haven't really tried yet. I've had other things on my mind. As for how long I've been here, I already said. I don't repeat myself, princess.

So far as we can tell, they do, in fact, watch and broadcast our every action. For what purpose... well. They say tis for entertainment. And the uh... "fan mail" appears to bear that out.

More than that, you would have to ask those more cognizant with the technology or who have been here longer.

But, it looks like everyone here has been unharmed.

There was a heist not too long ago, where we tried to gather some information. It didn't go well.

... I can only imagine. If they have the power to send a numerous amount of people here as they did, then they're likely not a power to easily be trifled with.

[ The moment that she'd known that Sorey was there was the moment that she'd thought tat Miklo might be there, as well. From what she knew, it was more odd for them to be separated than it was for them to be together. Even so, she's happy to hear his voice. ]

Lord Mikleo! It's good to hear your voice. Despite circumstances, have you been alright?

We've been okay, yeah.

[There's a longer answer he could provide, but no chance is he getting into any of that.]

I'll be alright. From what I know, my experience waking up here was nothing out of the norm.
