Who: Alisha and your character
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Marsiva
When: 6/8
broadcast
[ Alisha's seen a lot of things she thought might have just been impossible or nonexistent, but this definitely takes the cake. What she sees around her when she awakens is techonology that is completely and totally alien to her. It takes a while to relax a little after she wakes up, finally taking the time to address others when she's more aware of the situation.
When the device does turn on, it's quite close to her face - she looks to it for a moment or so before backing away, her voice quiet. ] --It's on? I thank you for your help. [ She says quietly before blinking upwards at the person in front of her. ] It's close? I-- thank you. [ Her face flushes a light shade of pink before she places it at where it's farther from her. ]
... My apologies. [ She's not exactly used to the situation here. ]
Good afternoon.
I've been told about the situation here, and that others have been made captive to be in this "show" as well as myself. I may not be familiar with the technology here, but I want to offer whatever assistance I can to those here. Please, I'd like to know more about anything I can. ... What exactly do they mean by show? And have our captors showed themselves?
[ No one seems to know or want to tell her about them... It's cowardly for them to do something like this, only to hide themselves. ]
I thank you all for any information in advance.
action:
[ For anyone who wants to run into her on the Marsiva, they'll find Alisha exploring what she can and taking in everything around her. Feel free to have your character bump into her! She'll likely look fairly lost, all things considering: but her goal is to find the armory. ]

Voice;
In fact, she and Rose are probably the only people in her acquaintance both here and back on Desolation that she's not angry and/or disappointed with on multiple levels.]
It's about time you showed up. You're late.
[She hasn't thought up a dance or some other stupid thing just yet. Give her time.]
As for the captors, they remain elusive. [Which she thinks they're smart for doing, you know, avoiding their entire captive cast of unwitting actors.] And by show... think of it as a play being broadcast over screens sort of like the ones we're using right now.
Voice;
Lady Edna-- Is that you...? [ Right now, she isn't Sorey's squire, so... how can she hear her..? ]
... I see. Do we know why they stay in hiding? If they have as much power and technology as they do, it makes them all the more mysterious that they would elude us as they are.
Voice;
Who else would it be? Where you expecting someone else?
[Her voice sounds annoyed, but that's an affectation she perfected a long time ago. Besides, it'll probably make the girl squirm.]
I can't answer that. We were contacted a little while by a group of other people, but the Atroma exist but don't really communicate with us from what I've seen. Although, I've really only been here a month myself. You'd be better off asking Sorey and the others, I guess. They've been here a lot longer.
[And there's some bitterness attached to that, but she's not going in to it. Not with Alisha and sure as hell not over the communicators.]
Voice;
[ So, hearing Edna was a surprise. A pleasant surprise. Would she be fortunate enough to be able to see her, too...? ]
... I see. So, it's as I suspected. If they haven't communicated with us, and vice versa, then am I right in assuming that there's no way to contact them, as well?
[ She knows that Sorey's been here for a while, and it's still rather odd to think about -- considering that it hadn't been long since she'd last seen him, but.... ]
A lot longer-- then, did you also just recently arrive here, Lady Edna?
Voice;
[And that long ago, huh? So long ago. The pact had been renewed and disintegrated anew since then. But, you know what? Still nice to see someone she learned to respect through her own strength of spirit.]
I dunno if there's no way to contact them. Like I said, I haven't really tried yet. I've had other things on my mind. As for how long I've been here, I already said. I don't repeat myself, princess.
Voice;
[ LOOK... ALISHA IS ALWAYS AS RESPECTFUL AS SHE CAN BE. ]
... I see. [ She sounds apologetic again. ] Time is rather peculiar. here. I'd only just seen Sorey and Rose a day before I'd been taken here. Would it be too forward of me to ask if something has happened?
Voice;
[Edna likes to experiment with who can see her and who can't. It does make her job as the Personnel person of the Blameless a little hard though. Oh well. She still hasn't replaced her chair. It's not a big deal.]
A lot of things have happened. Both back home and here. [Her voice is flat to hide all the pain she's carrying around. No need to burden the princess with her personal issues.] I don't want to talk about it.
Voice;
If you're here, then Lady Lailah and the others--? [ Are all of the serapihm here, as well...? But really, a part of this is to help hopefully change the subject. ]
Voice;
Unlike certain Water Seraph. But she has to correct something and quickly.]
Lailah's not here. It's me, Mikleo, Sorey, Zaveid, and Dezel from home. Plus a bunch of people you won't know. They're friends of Eizen's. [A beat. It's easier to say now.] He's here too.
Voice;
... Eizen? [ She doesn't recall hearing that name before, but it's obviously of importance to Edna... ] Had he been traveling with all of you beforehand, as well?
Voice;
No, he's my brother. You never got to meet him.
Voice;
... I see. Lady Edna, is he-- alright?
Voice;
How in the hell is she supposed to answer that? "Well, he was a dragon and then Zaveid and I killed him with the others, but he's here and he's alive and it's like I stuck my entire body in a volcano for every second we're around each other and I can't not see my brother after all the time we've been apart. But, hey, you know, that's what it is.
Is he alright...]
He's an idiot. Like normal.
Voice;
What was he like, though...? She can't help but imagine that he's like Edna himself, considering that they're siblings and all. ]
I didn't know that you a brother, Lady Edna. I feel fortunate that I'll have a chance to meet with him. May I ask what he's like?
Voice;
However, talking about Eizen might be easier, but she'd rather the princess just met him and got it over. ]
Tall. Blond. Morose. Stupid. Friends with Zaveid. A pirate.
[That's enough, right?]
Voice;
A pirate...? Then-- is he from another place outside of Glenwood?
Voice;
No, he's from Rayfalke, like me, but he's traveled all over the world because he's never been able to stay still for longer than a few days.
Besides, Glenwood's not the only landmass on Desolation, princess.
Voice;
Voice;
[SHUT UP! SHE IS NOT FOND!]
