Action/Video.

Who: Sam Winchester and you
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: The Space Bar or SS Bloodsport
When: The 9th - sometime these next few days.
(Note: feel free to take your time tagging this if you have a calibration with him! Or we can wrap it up quick or plan out the ending, whatever you prefer! No rush.)

[ACTION.]

[So — Sam got updated. Thank fucking christ. Nami, you'd better be ready for him to excitedly knock on your door at some point. You can also find Sam at The Space Bar, where he's right back to bar-tending. Feel free to stop by if you need him. But as everyone settles back into normalcy aboard the fleet, Sam makes a new entry to the network. Gotta air out that dirty laundry business.

A few days after they've returned home:]

So, um. That was something, huh...?

[He clears his throat, drums his fingers on top of an old red book.]

Let's just clear the room — I wanted to apologize for... anyone who had gone into my head, or whatever you want to call it. I know there's a lot in there that isn't exactly pleasant to deal with. But I'm cool with it. I mean, I remember it all, and I'm totally fine with everything. So if you're worried about the whole trespassing thing... I'll get over it.

I'm just... I'm sorry, because I know some of it was... Yeah.

[He's dealt with worse. Far worse.]

There are some things for me to be thankful for, right now, in better news; I got a quick trip back home between the Marsiva and the Bloodsport. See, um... My brother, he made it out of a predicament in one piece when I was sure he was gone. And I did, too. Somehow. And I got to meet my mom. Like, in the flesh, as herself.

So as shitty as this month has been in some respects... I'm... just happy I've got her and my brother.

[Ehem.]

Anyway. Enough of the sappy serious stuff.

Anyone want to rent out a book? I'm starting to get quite a collection here.

I've got a list, I'll post it for you guys.

... And...

[He holds up two more: All My Friends are Dead by Avery Monson and Jory John, and... The Big Book of Lesbian Horse Stories by Alisa Surkis and Monica Nolan. He winces.]

Look, I'm not going to kink shame — but someone please take the horse one. You can pass it around like it's The Ring video for all I care.

Not familiar with the other stuff, so I guess thank the universe for small favors for both of us.

Glad it turned out pretty alright, regardless.

I was going to say I prefer non-fiction, but I'm not so sure about those last two. I'm also not sure if I want to know, either, so don't take that as me asking you to read the book flaps or anything.

So... you just found em, huh.

[ She'll kink shame for you, don't worry. ]

Did everyone get one, then? And did everyone but me get a saucy book?

I'd heard the Marsiva seemed to be closed off/have more rooms than possible to enter. Could be there's just a room of fetish books somewhere on the ship...

Seems to be the case, although I'm not one to ask about that sort of thing. If mine's anything to go by, some of it has meaning to the recipient.

Okay, you got me there. Whatever it is, it's inaccessible for a reason... ship's usually inaccessible to most people, too, isn't it?

Anyone been told why that is? Or why everyone was put on it more recently? Seems pretty suspicious to me, but I guess I make a job out of being suspicious.

I'd like to know why. There's something to it, I imagine.

Also kind of shitty to refer to exposing people's memories like that, isn't it? Like you're tuning up some tech or something, fixing an old VCR not someone's life.

Guess I know what my pet project's going to be then.

Of course. Figure all of us are here against our will and I'd owe it to the people who have been here longer.

I'd appreciate whatever information you think is worth knowing or potentially has use in the endeavor of getting off this thing and back home.

That's what I'd planned on doing the second I got a knife, so you're not a moment too early. Could I ask why or are there too many reasons?

Well, it doesn't sound that bad to me, but if it ends up with that kind of level of blood loss I guess I'll have to make sure someone's around and willing to drag my ass if that's the case. If it's not enough that I'll pass out, I'm capable of stitching myself back up.

For now, I suppose it'll just have to stick.

Anyway, what do you mean by "glitches"?

[ Something stopping them. Forces outside of their control. Built-in safety mechanisms to stop them. It's all too familiar and the way her throat tightens reminds her why she's chosen to stick to text.

Like sandpaper twisting around cool metal, it's useless but sharp. It's too dry.

She wants to claw it out.

I'm mostly joking, though I'll be frank and say if the opportunity presents itself I'm going to give it a go. I'm not the kind of person that doesn't believe in living to fight another day.

[ This is a partial truth. She can be reckless with her life, though only when it involves other people. One person in particular. But her friends aren't here so that kind of extremity isn't present in her actions. ]

I'm not interested in making this any more difficult for anyone else. I can't promise I won't do something inadvisable, however, especially if it may work for the greater good.
