Action/Video.

Who: Sam Winchester and you
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: The Space Bar or SS Bloodsport
When: The 9th - sometime these next few days.
(Note: feel free to take your time tagging this if you have a calibration with him! Or we can wrap it up quick or plan out the ending, whatever you prefer! No rush.)

[ACTION.]

[So — Sam got updated. Thank fucking christ. Nami, you'd better be ready for him to excitedly knock on your door at some point. You can also find Sam at The Space Bar, where he's right back to bar-tending. Feel free to stop by if you need him. But as everyone settles back into normalcy aboard the fleet, Sam makes a new entry to the network. Gotta air out that dirty laundry business.

A few days after they've returned home:]

So, um. That was something, huh...?

[He clears his throat, drums his fingers on top of an old red book.]

Let's just clear the room — I wanted to apologize for... anyone who had gone into my head, or whatever you want to call it. I know there's a lot in there that isn't exactly pleasant to deal with. But I'm cool with it. I mean, I remember it all, and I'm totally fine with everything. So if you're worried about the whole trespassing thing... I'll get over it.

I'm just... I'm sorry, because I know some of it was... Yeah.

[He's dealt with worse. Far worse.]

There are some things for me to be thankful for, right now, in better news; I got a quick trip back home between the Marsiva and the Bloodsport. See, um... My brother, he made it out of a predicament in one piece when I was sure he was gone. And I did, too. Somehow. And I got to meet my mom. Like, in the flesh, as herself.

So as shitty as this month has been in some respects... I'm... just happy I've got her and my brother.

[Ehem.]

Anyway. Enough of the sappy serious stuff.

Anyone want to rent out a book? I'm starting to get quite a collection here.

I've got a list, I'll post it for you guys.

I'm offended you think I'd get kicked out of a bar.

[he would not get kicked out he would leave first ok]

Lumberjack copycat, right. Got it. I'll figure out a way on over.

Not familiar with the other stuff, so I guess thank the universe for small favors for both of us.

Glad it turned out pretty alright, regardless.

I was going to say I prefer non-fiction, but I'm not so sure about those last two. I'm also not sure if I want to know, either, so don't take that as me asking you to read the book flaps or anything.

So... you just found em, huh.

[ She'll kink shame for you, don't worry. ]

[Man, she was about to make an announcement of her own when Sam comes bouncing up to her door, and she opens it, comm in hand. Blink.]

Hey. I was about to-- [Dat face.] What? Did someone send you a dog in the post?

[ she'd watched his broadcast. of course she had. only -- only she doesn't make much of a reply beyond a brittle snort of something that's not quite laughter. and then the feed cuts dead. if sam wants to talk, she knows he'll come find her. lord knows he'd seen enough inside her head. and maybe, just maybe, his eyes had been some of the easier ones to digest glancing across her memories. paradoxical, that.

steve's out. whammied with a coma, it would seem, and peggy therefore sticks close to the starstruck. but if sam chooses to stop by for a spot of tea, he's bound to find her and her stiffened posture aboard that ship. with a cook aboard, she's taken to avoiding dallying in the kitchen. instead, she's more easily found in her quarters. during 'office hours,' so to speak, the hatch to her room stays open. she resents the lack of privacy but she understands the signal it sends to the rest of the crew if she locks herself away.

therefore, she can be found with a mug at her elbow and her head bowed to some bit of paperwork at her desk. the room is clearly more than just hers, these days -- one of steve's shirts hangs from the locker door. his boots are by the bed. his art supplies are on the bedside table. steve, however, isn't present. ]

[So much stuff that calls Shiro's attention on this post. He totally feels the "sorry about the shit in my mind" part, oh yes, but at least he bonded with his teammates? So he feels Sam's 50-50 idea of the whole thing. Gonna respect that and stick to the sappy stuff.]

It seems Atroma can tell we need entertainment, I got a set of pocket chess. [Those books though... the dinosaur one is just mean, wow. Also they're old as hell.] Is the pigeon driver a story for kids?

[Because that title is just whut. Yeah, not touching the horses, thank you very much.]

I always knew you were a kinky fucker. I never would have guessed lesbian horses were what did it for you, though.

[ Frowning some, Rick processed the words silently for a moment before he spoke. ]

You got to go home. [ He paused. ] Did ya choose to come back or did ya have no control over it?

[ They were very important questions but his attention drifted towards the books nonetheless. ]

If ya wouldn't mind. To Kill a Mockingbird would be interestin' to read again.

That's what I thought. What I've been told anyway. Just wanted see if you had somethin' different happen.

Really don't like those things. Too much of a mystery and too much unseen control.

[ He shook his head with a frown. ]

Did ya ever go? [ The guy really didn't look like a lawyer but then again he probably didn't look like a Sheriff's Deputy, at least former. ]
