After a moment he seems to finally acknowledge the camera is on, and he smiles with a little jovial wave. ]

Hello, everyone.

I don't know about you, but when I encounter a problem that stumps me, or a particularly strange situation ... the first thing I like to do is have a nice, hot cup of tea.

[ He inhales the steam. ]

Something about the flavor and the warmth in your belly makes it easier to clear your mind and focus your energy on what is troubling you.

[ He takes a sip. Ahh, delicious AND comforting. ]

You can always count on jasmine to lead the way to the answers you seek.

I used to say that at my age there was only one big surprise left, but it seems I may have spoken too soon. [ A little chuckle ] But I suppose life is nothing if not unpredictable.

I have been fortunate enough to encounter some friends of my nephew's who were kind enough to educate me on the basics. But I do have to wonder if they have been treated well on this journey.

[ He's pretty content to learn and explore things as they come, but he bout to get real mad if this Atroma is mistreating children or forcing them to do awful things. ]

[She bows to him in return.]

I thought you must be connected to Sokka somehow. It's been difficult not to notice his ... excitement [That's putting it lightly] around the ship. Don't worry, the worst that's happened to him so far is a stomachache from eating too many cookies.

[ Aw, Bev! He smiles fondly at her returning the gesture. ]

Yes, we are acquainted. Though that is hardly an accomplishment; most everyone these days is acquainted with him and his friends.

[ Given they kinda saved the world and all. He chuckles at the cookie thing, though ]

Hopefully he was able to recover quickly.

[She smirks.]

It was tough going at first, but he valiantly pulled through. Fortunately, as a doctor and a mother, I'm well prepared for such situations.

[ God, he's just. Still laughing. ]

He is very lucky to have had you there, then.

[His laughter is infectious. She can't help but start to giggle as well.]

I don't think he thought so. I'm afraid I was not very sympathetic to his plight.

I am sure it taught him a valuable lesson for the future.

[She raises an eyebrow.]

Somehow I doubt it.

[ A chuckle. ]

At the very least, it is a relief to know he is in such capable hands.

[She tilts her head in acknowledgement.]
