[Shush, they're cute. And Pidge's room back on the Bishop needs a hoarder's touch. She's got nothing yet. But she'll still give a little roll of her eyes as she does, indeed, accept the rest of the lions as well.] Only because you insist.

[Pidge nods, finally finding a spot to pile up her new toys where she won't forget about them. And she'll have Green's plush sitting on the very top, like she's the guardian.]

Uhh, probably. He looks and smells like it, and he said he's a ship captain. But not the Bishop's captain, obviously. Looma almost killed him for calling himself Captain anything.

[Yeah, Shiro isn't surprised by any of these news, because he knows exactly who Pidge is talking about. His face shows a bit of annoyance - not a big deal like Slav, but it is there.]

It sounds like your captain has everything under control, and I know you can take care of yourself, but. Be careful. I think his heart is in the right place but he's... something.

[Pidge blinks up at Shiro in surprise.] So.. You've met him, I guess?

[She shouldn't be shocked, really. After all Shiro's been here for a longer time, so he's probably met a good number of the other people in the Fleet. But still. It's kind of a weird surprise.]

[So Shiro feels kinda weird about him, honestly. But he better don't mess with Pidge or Shiro will have to pay the Bishop a visit, regardless of Looma's actions.]

[Pidge just. Stares for a minute. The idea of someone who looks like Jack trying to rob someone that looks like Shiro is just... Wow. Either Jack is infinitely stupider than he looks, or just incredibly ballsy.]

... Guess I'll have to keep an eye out for him, then. [As if she hadn't already been planning on keeping a safe distance from him.]

[That offer earns Shiro a smile in return, one that's probably just a little too big. They have a good team, after all. It really is difficult to imagine what life would be like if they were completely isolated from one another.]

We can probably open a comm channel exclusively for our team. Just so you can hear us all yell at each other.

A channel in our current network would work, but it'll still be under Atroma's eyes. I wish we could start our own network, get our own private communicators.
