Question for all of you. It’s been brought to my attention numerous times that some of you don’t come from a world where people have fancy kinds of powers.

For those of you who do, what kind of powers have you experienced? How do yours work? I’ve heard some say theirs are elemental based, while others are based on magic.

For those of you who don’t, have you ever wondered what having special powers is like? There has to be something more interesting than, say, if you were invisible, you'd spy on someone.

[And then he cuts the feed.]

Spying people is fun, but it can get dull if you run out of newcomers.

Of course I've spied on people. You've seen me work, I've obviously had stealth training. And no, not you. You're easy to read already.

Tch! You only think I'm easy to read because nothing where I have to be absolutely serious has ever happened.

[He doesn't count the heist as "that serious" of a thing.]

You get drunk so easily I feel embarrassed for you, your taste is porn is questionable at best, and you treat your hat like a lover. I really don't need to know much more than that.

I never said it was necessarily a bad thing. It also means you know how to enjoy things some people might not and you take care of what's important to you.

Hm, well the hat thing is a little unsettling at times, but everyone has their quirks.

[Well, he can't argue with either of those points, so he leaves them alone.]

Upside dow-- oh. [Fie looks around and realizes what's going on.] Hang on a sec.

[What comes next is a whirl of movement turbulent enough to give a person watching motion sickness. It ends with her feet landing on the ground with a little 'hup' noise from her.]

Sorry. I'm just hanging out in the cargo bay. Forgot that for a moment.

[Yes, she meaning hanging out. Upside down from a bar on the ceiling.]

[Heh, that was pretty amusing, so he laughs a little.]

Sometimes it's nice to have a view from a different perspective, isn't it?

Sure, I guess. It's a nice way to clear my head sometimes. Plus, I'm not really interrupted there.

[Following the scenery behind her, Fie's making her way to a crate to sit on.]

Why're you asking about powers anyway?

Isn't it obvious?

[Or, well, to a guy like him it's something that would be obvious, so clearly it should be to others too.]

I'm looking for people who will make things interesting! Keep me on my toes! I can't go on without keeping my strength up, otherwise I'll get rusty, and that's not good for anyone!

[Oh, that actually makes sense. Fie blinks in surprise, nodding in understanding.]

I get it. But why only people with powers? There should be plenty of fighters without them, too.

Oh! I'll spar with anyone.

[He sips his wine.]

I'm just awfully curious about powers from other worlds, and what better way to learn about them than to ask?
