Meet me at the altar in your white dress
Who: Everyone
Broadcast: N/A
Action: Kayanni System, the city
When: NOW
There is a wedding on the planet. You may know this because you were invited to this wedding by this little guy and it's a lovely ceremony! You can watch the couple get married, wether you know them or not, the whole fleet was invited.Even if they don't know you either.
Noctis was in all black and he was beside himself, the time had finally come and after seeing his beautiful bride he couldn't look away. The music was soft yet appropriate. Luna was beaming, holding onto Shiro's arm down the aisle until they were together and holding hands. The vows went on as if in another room. Noctis couldn't quite focus on them, he was fighting getting sucked into Luna's orbit and just kissing her prematurely. Distantly he heard his cue to repeat after the offician and he recited his vows word for word. Umbra had their rings ready for them. When he put Luna's on her finger he felt a tear spill down his cheek. He couldn't stop smiling. The officiant led Luna then and Noctis hung on every word. Her voice was melodic and soft. Then he had a ring on his finger and he felt himself crying again. He just looked at her, he officiant left them through the end, announcing it was over, they were married.
Noctis didn't wait for any cue, he pulled Luna in close and dipped her as they kissed.

[When he accepted Lance's help to look good for the big day, he thought it would just be some clothes advice. A tip on what to do with his hair. Not the pile of beauty products that now decorate the lounge's table. Shiro raises an eyebrow to his teammate, wondering now if this is a good idea after all.]
...is all that really necessary?
-The reception
[With a black and purple suit, and his hair slicked back, Shiro is looking rather handsome today. People may remember him from the ceremony as the man that walked Luna down the aisle, and he did it rather proudly. While that is his only role on the wedding, he won't mind if people come to him with questions or anything.
Now, does he dance? He does! Usually it won't come from him first, though, unless it's a teammate, but you're free to notice him (awkwardly) a couple of times on the dance floor and come and ask him yourself. He's relaxed and smiling, so he's actually willing to give it a try.
And then there's the food! You'll see him pick a bit of everything at the buffet - space life is hard, ok. All the paladins will jump on the chance of good food.]
I didn't think they made donuts with this flavor, [He'll comment casually after biting one. The filling is neon, but he just shrugs and keeps eating it anyway. Nothing can be worse than Coran's paladin special goo, trust him.
Did anybody say pictures by the way? Because he's taking them for his personal collection with the tablet he acquired at the planet, but there are also some to be sent to Luna later. He'll ask you to smile for the happy couple, but if you're a friend of his, he'll want a selfie together. Please indulge him, he's in a good mood today and that means his extroversion coming out like woah.
Finally there's the sparkles! Shiro is smiling goofily at the one sparkling in his hand.]
I think I haven't played with one of these since I was a kid. [He'll turn to anyone that may look like they don't know what to do.] Need a hand with that?

[Well, get ready to meet the groom again, Shiro. Sure, they met before the wedding day, Luna wanted him to know the man who would be giving her away in Ravus' stead. He trusted Luna's judge of character and Shiro seemed like a ball to be around. He was an energetic man, much more so than Noct, though from casual observation... he thinks he knows more about the man now than he could have learned through simple conversation.
He's kind, he's enthusiastic, he's a team player, he's playful.... Noct likes this guy. He liked him before just because any friend of Luna's is a friend of his but he wants to be friends with him on his own too, now. So he steps over when Shiro has his tablet out.]
You getting a lot of good shots, Shiro? I'll warn you... Prompto might get defensive if he sees you with the tablet. [He has a drink in his hand and smiles at him. He's all smiles today, a first for him. He... can't stop?]
How do you think the ceremony went?
no subject
The comment about Prompto makes him laugh. He's in a good mood, great even.]
I don't know if they're good, but they're... you know, mine. [A shrug. He's having a good day and he wants his own memories of it.] I'm sure your professional friend's pictures will make a better wedding album.
[Oh, that's understandable. Shiro would be surprised if Noctis wasn't all smiles. And he smiles in return, of course.] It was perfect, Noctis. You and Lunafreya being so happy together at the altar was the most perfect "picture" today.

[Lance gives him a bright smile. He was incredibly eager to help Shiro look his best for this occasion. He'd helped him pick out the perfect suit, and now it was just time to style his hair.
Shiro didn't have much hair, but his bangs were long and prominent and he intended to wrestle that floof into submission.]
First question, do you want it loose or slicked back?
no subject
[He's giving you freedom with it, Lance. Don't break his trust.]
Should I change before this? I don't want to ruin the suit.
no subject
[He sticks his tongue out before glancing at Shiro from a few different angles, reaching out and pushing his bangs back.]
The slicked back look might work. Okay. Yeah, go get changed, I'm not risking you ruining my masterpiece.
no subject
[He goes to the privacy of his room for that, thank you. And he takes his sweet time because... suits. Fancy suit at that. Not the most comfortable thing. Fuck formal shirts, honestly. He's afraid he'll tear it with his arm any minute now.]
no subject
Lance waits a little while once he sits down, leg jiggling. But he becomes impatient, as he often does, and gets up to poke his head into the other room.]
Yo, do you need help with--
[Oh.
Hello, shirtless Shiro. Part of him can't help but admire; yeah, the black paladin definitely was as ripped as he seemed. Lance would be an idiot not to admit that he looked amazing. But the other part notices the scars covering his flesh, ones he never considered might be there.
Half of him feels deep concern. The other half is furious at the Galra, and if he ever finds out which one did this to him...]
Um, do you need help-- With the outfit, sometimes suits can be annoying to put on.
no subject
[Know what, forget about being careful with the shirt. Shiro throws it on as quickly as possible, keeping it closed with his hand as he angrily turns to his teammate, leader tone more scolding than ever.]
Don't you know how to knock?!
no subject
I--sorry, I-- You were taking a bit, and I just...
no subject
...no, Lance, I shouldn't have yelled. I'm sorry. I... over reacted. [A sigh.] But I do ask you to always knock first, please.
no subject
[Lance should probably let the matter go. Turn around, walk away, wait for Shiro to be done. But he never knows when to shut up.]
Are you angry because I saw your scars?
no subject
[He says as he turns around to button up his shirt, not wanting to meet Lance's eyes. It's not a lie, not really - yeah, he had an initial outburst, but now that's gone, there are other emotions taking over. Emotions he doesn't want Lance to see when the question hits him super hard.
During calibrations, he promised he'd try harder to share, but it's still hard.]
no subject
[Yes, Shiro, you did promise. He gives him a look before nodding.]
Come meet me in the other room when you're ready, okay?
[This talk isn't over. He heads back to the other room, fiddling around with the hair products he's gathered.]

What does it taste like?
["Better than food goo" was a given, so Keith wasn't even thinking of that. He was curious if it compared to anything like back on Earth.]
no subject
This one? [Shrug!] I'm not sure - but it's sweet. There are other flavors, though, so don't be afraid to try finding something more... normal?
[Are they even allowed to use that word anymore?]
no subject
Okay... that tastes like apple cider and cinnamon.
[Which... was good. So, he'd just... continue eating that one.]
no subject
[He finishes his donut but doesn't grab another one yet - he goes for his drink while waiting for Keith to finish his own. He's relaxed and actually enjoying himself, a permanent smile decorating his lips through the whole party.]
You owe me a picture, by the way.
no subject
You, too?
[What was it with people and pictures around here?]
no subject
What do you mean "me too"?
no subject
[He shrugged.]
I don't know. It's just a lot.
[PARTY... Keith was starting to feel a little overloaded.]

no subject
[He shrugged.]
We can take one if you want. I was just... making an observation, I guess.
[Keith considered the question.]
I think I'm okay right now. I took a break with Pidge earlier. You know the garden has a gazebo?
no subject
[He puts his arm around Keith and brings him close in that playful, big brother way he used to pull more before Kerberos. The party really has him in a good mood! He takes a couple of photos, just in case, and answers Keith's question after letting goof him. If he had a tail, he'd be wagging it right now.]
I'm glad to hear you and Pidge are taken the breaks you need and still staying. I saw the gazebo from afar but I haven't been there. Peace and quiet in it, huh?
no subject
He nodded about the gazebo, though.]
Yeah. It seemed like a good spot. We didn't know it was out there until we were out the door, but it worked out. Originally, I would have been happy just to find a bench in the garden to hide for a bit. But, that was better.
Plus, I had Pidge with me anyway. It was actually okay not being completely alone. And I knew she'd understand.
