There is a wedding on the planet. You may know this because you were invited to this wedding by this little guy and it's a lovely ceremony! You can watch the couple get married, wether you know them or not, the whole fleet was invited.Even if they don't know you either. 

Noctis was in all black and he was beside himself, the time had finally come and after seeing his beautiful bride he couldn't look away. The music was soft yet appropriate. Luna was beaming, holding onto Shiro's arm down the aisle until they were together and holding hands. The vows went on as if in another room. Noctis couldn't quite focus on them, he was fighting getting sucked into Luna's orbit and just kissing her prematurely. Distantly he heard his cue to repeat after the offician and he recited his vows word for word. Umbra had their rings ready for them. When he put Luna's on her finger he felt a tear spill down his cheek. He couldn't stop smiling. The officiant led Luna then and Noctis hung on every word. Her voice was melodic and soft. Then he had a ring on his finger and he felt himself crying again. He just looked at her, he officiant left them through the end, announcing it was over, they were married.

Noctis didn't wait for any cue, he pulled Luna in close and dipped her as they kissed.

They were laughing and crying and holding each other tight. They were in their own world for the time being. But the RECEPTION starts now. And that's what everyone really came for. There's alcohol, food in a buffet, and cake . Those of you at the cake tasting with them may notice the flavor you recommended is available as a donut! All of the suggested flavors are availalble, it was hard to decide who didn't get their favorite and what ONE flavor to make an entire cake out of. It didn't sit well with either of them. 

Also sparklers  There is a table with a few gifts on it, but it contains a large display of long sparklers with matches and a bucket of water saying "Please light up our night!" 

SO Have at the reception everybody!

There is a: Dance floor with music booming, a buffet with delicious food and CAKE, There is BOOZE of all types and it's just flowing with no signs of stopping, and sparklers! Also dancing with the bride..... or getting a photo with the couple!

[He sets her back down again by the end of a second rotation, grinning despite her obvious threat.]

Miss Gainsborough, are you trying to get a man in trouble?

I'm sure we can make a deal, right?

[ Her hands rest on his shoulders and she looks around the reception. ]

You can ask me to dance and I won't tell.

[wingenvy]

Hmmm... you drive a hard bargain.

[Like he wasn't going to ask her anyway. But since he's already being theatrical, he tugs down one of her hands and bends to give it a kiss.]

My lady Aerith, will you honour me with a dance?

[asphodels]

[ Aerith's eyes widen and her cheeks go a little red before she scoffs quietly. ]

Zack!

[ She laughs, leaning down and tugging him up. ]

Of course I will.

[wingenvy]

[Since he already has her by the hand, he straightens up and tugs her towards the designated dance area, facing her properly and resting his other hand on her waist.]

So... you might have to give me some pointers? I kinda know the basics but they didn't cover this in SOLDIER training...

Just try not to step on my feet.

[ He has his hands in the right places, at least, and Aerith wraps hers around his neck carefully. ]

All you really need to do is sway.

[wingenvy]

I can do that. Though it might not be too exciting...

[Girls like it more fun, don't they? Or is being close like this enough? Maybe once they find a rhythm they can spice it up a bit, or something.]

It's perfect.

[ Don't you think she's had quite enough exciting for now? She does lean against him, though, smiling. ]

Did you meet Luna?

[wingenvy]

Sure did! She tracked me down before I could find her. Nice lady, I hope she has a real happy marriage.

[asphodels]

I hope so too. I think she deserves it. [ She doesn't know much about Luna, but she sees a lot of herself in the other woman. ] She's one of Cloud's friends, so I like her.

[wingenvy]

Cloud's awfully popular with the ladies, isn't he?

[and people call him a ladies' man? most of his friends are dudes!]

[ She frowns, thoughtful. ]

Hm... Do you think so?

[wingenvy]

[uh-oh]

...I mean... he has a lot of gi- female friends! It happens. That's fine, right?

[asphodels]

It's fine. [ And she's smiling! ] I'm just glad he has friends.

[wingenvy]

[oh phew. jealousy hasn't really come up with them before, and Cloud had been worried about that, so. he's got your back, bro!!]

Me too! I remember him being kinda awkward and shy, but he was a friendly guy. No reason he shouldn't have people who like 'im.

[asphodels]

I think it took him forever to admit the others were his friends. [ She laughs quietly. ] But he's doing better!

[wingenvy]

Huh... good to hear. He's pretty different from how he was when I knew him, so I'm kinda relearning everything.

[asphodels]

He grew up a lot, even with us. [ Aerith shakes her head, almost fond. ] He was trying hard to be what he didn't remember, but he found himself in the end.

[wingenvy]

Me, right?

[It's not really a question; Cloud admitted to it, after all. Though that makes him curious-]

Did you notice it? I mean... was it like me?

[He's not meaning it to be accusatory or anything- he's still trying to be casual, since they are at a wedding and Cloud's here besides. But she'd know best, out of everyone.]

[asphodels]

[ She was the one in the position to know, she supposed, and she thinks, tilting her head. ]

He reminded me of you. I think, maybe, that's why I liked him at first. It was a little bit like you were back, but different, because you were never that grumpy.

[ Eventually, she stops moving, shaking her head. ]

But... It wasn't the same. It was like... It was like he was trying too hard to be something he wasn't, and the real Cloud was underneath the whole time, wanting to come out and say hello. He just didn't know how to do it because that's what he thought he had to be.

[wingenvy]

Huh...

[Zack hums thoughtfully, then leans in and kisses her forehead, resting his chin against her hair, turning with her a bit more closely than before.]

Well, I'm glad you went looking for him. You and Tifa. You're the only ones who would've known it wasn't him.

[If he'd been there, he could've helped too, but... that won't be in the cards.]

[asphodels]

[ Aerith closes her eyes, taking a moment to simply bask in the fact that Zack was right here beside her and she had nothing to worry about. He wasn't going to go anywhere again. ]

Mm. I could tell, you know? Tifa didn't say anything for a long time, but she must have known too.

[ It was only after she died, really, and Aerith is sad about it. She wanted to know the real Cloud, after all. ]

He tried to be a hero too. He was grumpy, but he tried.

[wingenvy]

Us guys are kinda dumb like that. Obsessed with being seen as heroic to the people who are important to us.

[There's no shame in his tone or expression; just cheerfully matter-of-fact. It'd been ingrained long before Angeal started training it into him. Kids leave their small towns to join SOLDIER and be heroes. It was true even before Sephiroth's name was the one everyone whispered about as the best example of who to emulate; he just helped to make it more popular than ever.]

[asphodels]

He really was a hero, though, wasn't he?

[ She'd seen it all, and she'd been at his side for a lot of it. Aerith just hums quietly, sliding up to wrap her arms around Zack's neck gently, leaning against him and basking in the comfort of him being right there. Sometimes you need to talk about the sad things, but that didn't mean you had to ignore the happier ones. ]

Both of you are heroes.

For sure! I gotta take your word for it, but I believe it. He always had it in him- I saw that much.

[He'd faced Sephiroth as just a regular trooper, no SOLDIER enhancements or much training to speak of. What's more, he took him down, put him out of commission for five years. That's huge. That's heroic.

He's not so sure about his own accomplishments - he'd failed at an awful lot - but if Aerith thinks he's a hero... well, that's enough for him.]
