[Anyone on the Caprine can probably hear when Doudanuki wakes up because he does so by yelling loudly as he jumps out of bed. He can't remember the last time he was awake and that concerns him - a lot.

So fellow Capriners will probably hear him as he thunders around checking on people or trying to figure out why the hell he was unconscious for an entire month. How he greets them depends on whether he knows them yet or not:

[Later, after he realizes that comas are just things that happen because why not? This place is insane enough already.

And then he's at the comms station and notices something weird.]

What happened to that other ship? What the hell did you guys do while I was asleep??

So the crew got transferred, but the ship got eaten? Anyone know why?

Out here in the void of space, where we do not even know how we are brought here, who knows how things work. [ He shrugs a little helplessly and shakes his head ]

Aye, that seems to be the way of it. I assume that it was because there was no one left on the ship, perhaps? But I do not know.

Guess that must be it. Once a ship's got no one in it, it kind of loses its purpose.

[And transferring people off to other ships would be easier than kidnapping more people to fill it. Makes sense, even if he wonders what happens to the ships after.]

It is the only way I know to describe it. [ Maglor shrugs at him helplessly ] It was like nothing I have seen, or know how to describe. A ... emptiness.

[He barely suppresses a shudder at the mental image.]

There's something not right about that ship. It ain't just metal and parts, it can pull a huge gun out whenever it wants, and no one can figure out who actually runs it.

I am beginning to wonder if 'Marsiva' is not just the name of a ship but a Name.

If it was, wouldn't it do something when we talked about it? There must be some other part of its name we don't know yet.

I am certain that it there would be - but then, what do I know of Names of things out here! I could tell you much of my own world, but I think that even out here hiding a True Name, would be a useful thing.

Namin' things here can't be all that different from your home, can it? Someone else just got to it first for once.

He stares at the camera for a moment, then gives it a shrug, crossing his arms over his chest and sitting back like a sullen child.]

Bein' in trouble would be better'n sittin' around doing nothing. And it's not like anyone here can really break me. I'm basically rustin' away from lack of anything to do.

You still can - you just have to be smart about it. For example, I would suggest rather than simply randomly punching people, I would start asking around for someone important that you can punch.

But if I ask around, won't they just lie and not tell me?

It'd probably be faster to punch 'em a couple times and then ask.

That depends on how you ask, no? I would suggest only punching them once, and not too hard. That way, you can suggest that information will make you punch them less.
