(Trimming hair is easier said than done, but the tall Elf has done an...admirable...job? Shhh don't tell him it's uneven in parts. He sets down a pair of scissors and cocks his head, peering at himself in a mirror.)

I must have been...angled...incorrectly. (His left hand doesn't quite smack his face, but it does try to cover it as his ears go red.)

It was getting too long, you see. I became tangled in it every morn and the brushing of it was a painful business.

(Clearly annoyed, he grabs a brush, sets about smoothing it and puts it all in a ponytail. Some of the strands are rebellious, however, and fall out of the ribbon to frame his face. The tickling sensation annoys him more and he tries to tuck them, instead, behind his ears. His mangled ear doesn't make a proper perch for the copper strands and some of them fall right back where they started.)

I think I can handle a slow jog. (He snickers, shrugging bashfully.) He would be most upset that I have such a bratty little brother who doesn't take care of himself!

[ Maglor wails theatrically and falls overly dramatically in his brother's direction, trusting him to catch him ]

(Maedhros is shocked into catching him, nearly lifting him bodily. He has been working on his strength.)

Not on your own two feet apparently!

[ Maglor laughs up at him, relaxing easily in his arms ]

I knew you'd catch me. [ He says fondly ]

(He lifts him all the way at that, kissing his cheek.)

It's just an excuse to hug you.

[ Maglor smiles and reaches to hug him back ]

It's a good excuse.

(He chuckles and leans their heads together.)

Any excuse for that is good.

I'm glad you think so. [ Maglor smiles and his eyes slide shut, content ]

I told you when you were small that you gave the best embraces. (Maedhros hums, smiling helplessly.) I love you too, Kano.

(He kisses the bridge of Maglor's nose, chuckling.)

My size helps in that regard.

[ Maglor laughs softly in return ]

It rather does. I am only glad I am not actually the shortest!

There is no shame in being the shortest, Kano. (It just means more embraces from big brother!)

Shame? No. [ He grins up at him ]

That is why I have dedicated myself to reaching all the items on top shelves! Doesn't that make the annoyance less?

[ Maglor gives in and hugs him ]

(He nuzzles the side of his head, beaming.)

(He softens and smiles gently.)
