[Laura never really wanted to talk about anything, but she'd started to learn it was probably a good thing to do anyway. She didn't answer at first, just thinking it over for what felt like a long time but probably wasn't.]

Oh, I completely understand your feelings on that one. We are prisoners no matter how our esteemed captors sugar-coat everything. To be able to spread our wings and fly, exploring our landscapes around us.....should be our natural right. Not to be stuck within the confines of metal walls with only the hum of an engine to keep us company.

There are many things I crave and want, yet most are quite impossible here. My world back, my Magitek troopers beside me, a room with a comfy bed and view over the Altissian cityscape. None of those can be achieved unfortunately. As for needs closer to home, I would like some plumper pillows? Would that be too much to ask?
