[Ignis doesn't hesitate to pull out the credits before dropping them into the other man's outstretched hand. It's all very amusing to him, if he's perfectly honest.]

Do you seriously charge all of your customers so much for a single word? It's not that offensive.

If you'd like, I can go back out there and make sure that I say it in the loudest voice possible so they'd all know.

[As it is, Ignis's voice is usually very quiet. He's never really had to shout to make himself heard. But does take the seat across from Tyrion and looks at him.]

I would be rather hypocritical if that were the case. Magic and prophesy are very real on my own world, alongside the technology we also have.

Believe me, Tyrion, there is one who is even more charming than myself that has yet to make an appearance on the Fleet.

It isn't unfamiliar, certainly, but a little to reliant upon superstition for my taste. Even with magick and Gods available to my people, we didn't allow it to rule our lives.

Hm, I think most people of Lucis, and Eos as a whole, do look to the Gods, but not as much as they once did. Very few people believe in Fate or Destiny. Some of us cannot avoid it. It really depends on how close one is touched by the Six.

And just out of curiosity and my future safety - how closely have you been touched?

[Ignis wonders if he should answer that question completely, but it's not as if Tyrion's being unreasonable in asking.

There is a part of things that touches the crew of the First Breath after all.]

I am not directly touched, but Noctis and Lunafreya have been in direct contact with the Six.

I don't think it's very probable that the Six will attack us here.

[Noctis hasn't been able to summon any of the Astrals after all.]

They are both members of our crew. Noctis is the other cook and Lady Lunafreya handles our communications.

You know, you really should rethink that. Anything is probable here.

So I've heard, but should the Astrals show up, there's only one that we would need worry about.

I am alerting you to this as the captain of the ship where we all reside. Should, for any unknown reason, the Astrals appear, you would know whom to consult, yes.

Unless, of course, you'd prefer to have a being of power attacking the fleet without any warning.

Well apparently we should have a ship wide meeting to discuss which dangers each of us are bringing to the proverbial table. It seems like we might be overwhelmed by them.

Why stop there? We could have a meeting of the entire Fleet on the Iskaulit to discuss such issues. I seriously doubt that should something attack one ship that it would stop there.

If we are going to go to do something like that - it should be between planets.

I'm sure there will be a time between this system and the next, if the past is anything to go by. However, it would be selling the idea to the entirety of the Fleet that would actually be the problem. Not everyone believes in the spirit of cooperation.

No, but then again, we do not need everyone to agree that the rest of us want to survive, now do we?

[That earns a chuckle from Ignis.]

I concede that point to you. I'm not certain that many people on the Fleet would listen to someone who's been here less than six months at this point, considering some have been stuck here for years and had more experience with what our lovely "hosts" like to do.

I don't know either ... but I have been here for years and it is dangerous at all times.

I'm inclined to believe that might be status quo for the Fleet. I arrived a few months before and even the "down time" can be treacherous here.
