Oh, well! [Edna, no,] I'd read about them a little bit in fiction back in Elysia, but Rose is the one who got me really hooked on- remember those times I was talking about that Frederick guy and stuff, that character I liked? He's a vampire! Specifically, he's part of a guild called the Red Roses, which I think is why Rose liked the series but originally it was a bard compilation that would get sung in taverns and stuff! Eventually they printed a bunch of copies for distribution and Rose got her hands on some, and she let me borrow one so I would read it whenever you guys went out exploring when we were gonna go to bed, and it's so interesting, see, the thing about vampires is [and on and on and on]
