[He turns to the punching bag he'd been abusing when she walked in and makes a sharp gesture, his hand extended just so towards the object. Light warps around him, along with a faint warbling whip-crack of sound that echoes in the room. The bag, in turn, seems to be wrapped in a web of blue-white like that shimmers and bend around it, and it lifts off the ground as if caught in a tiny piece of zero gravity.]

How intense is your mental focus compared to 'smashing around large things'? And I assume this manipulation [She takes her time to walk around the whole thing, from Kaiden to the back and back again without touching anything. She can feel it, though, both are vibrating the same pitch and tone.] works on animate objects as well.

A bit more intense, depending on exactly how small of a target you're affecting and how little you want to move it without breaking it. Throwing things around is...a lot like it'd be if you were throwing it around for real. A lot of effort in one short burst.
