Eyuzi System Mingle

Who: Everyone!
Broadcast: If you like!
Action: The planet Lyuku, the Iskaulit, and anywhere else you want
When: Sept 1 to Sept 28

[After a rather short time adrift, the fleet is finally in range of another planet. Small, peaceful, and colorful, there is plenty to do and explore.

Maybe it's enough to forget that vague feeling of unease.

Or not.

[He doesn't exactly sit up, not with her sitting on him, but he does prop himself up a bit on his elbows, making no real move to dislodge her despite being fairly sure he's not that great of a seat cushion.

Her eyes look as if she's been crying and Wolfe is beset by another wave of guilt. Time to try and change the subject.]

I, ah, I saw Riona. She filled me in on some of the things I missed. A cannon, yeah? Frightening.

[ It's not odd for Marian to sport that oh-so-attractive 'I haven't slept in at least a week' disheveled sort of look, but this... well, this looks a little different. The redness is a noticeable difference, tears more of joy than the heartache she had recently suffered. But there is something else that clings to the edges of her eyes, her mouth. Defeat, perhaps?

At least she is brighter now, trapping Wolfe under her weight─ not that she weighs much in the first place. He could push her off if he really wanted. ]

Cannon? Oh, right, yes. It was pretty crazy. [ Her stomach drops as she laughs a little, glancing off to the side briefly. ] What else did she tell you?

Mostly just that. I didn't give her much of a chance to talk, to be honest.

[An uncomfortable expression passes over his face briefly. Not because of his position, though it's not exactly easy on his back, but because of his general discomfort with being here. Not that he isn't glad to be, but he's missing months with no trip home - also both a blessing and a curse - and he's hurt people he didn't want to. It's not his fault, something in him knows that, but he's spent so long being blamed for things that aren't his fault he just generally believes he should take it.]

I'm sorry, Marian...
