Okay, so, ignoring that this is kind of awful and I hate that I apparently can't teleport myself home...

Any advice for first-timers? Can't say I've watched much reality TV back home. Um, barring that... what's some good places to visit off-ship if you've got like five cents to your name?

I don't mind at all! Let's start with the kitchen.

About a month, maybe? Not very long at all, so I'm still learning.

Still a month longer than me, so that's something.

I do, actually. A friend and teammate of mine is here, I was able to text her.

I'm not sure... I haven't thought about it. I didn't even know moving ships was possible.

Everyone here is really nice, though.

They are. Everyone really wants you to be comfortable.

And they want us to be safe, too.

Is it very dangerous here? I haven't heard much about that.

It hasn't been so far, but things can change. Even the safest places can be dangerous if the wrong people are there.

...Yeah, I can imagine. Are there? The wrong people, I mean. Anybody I should worry about.

I haven't met any yet. [ But she hasn't met everyone... ] I wonder if there is anyone really bad.

Mm... well, if there's nobody you've met yet, they're keeping to themselves enough that we might not have to worry about it. Fingers crossed?

It's not that uncommon for people to lash out when the ones they really want to fight are out of reach. But it's true that everyone has the capacity to be good, too.

Sometimes you just need to encourage them to see the good parts of themselves and not the bad.

Maybe a little. But I've learned properly.

It's a good skill to have. I mean, if it can be called a skill. It's probably just, like... compassion.
