ᴀᴜᴅɪᴏ/ᴀᴄᴛɪᴏɴ | what can i do
Who: Dezel and you
Broadcast: Yes
Action: Lyuku, Malum.
When: Anytime up to the 21st.
[audio;]
[A rough voice, unaccustomed to talking too much, but distinctive in its grumpiness.]
Animals need to be evacuated, too. Don't forget about them.
[And also:]
There are drinks at the Malum if you need to take a break. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Dying foolishly doesn't make you a hero, it makes you an idiot.
[Not that it'll dissuade any of these people.]
-----
[action; lyuku]
[Dezel's always had a way with animals, so he's mostly found rounding up livestock and pets that were forgotten about. Whether they're fluffy or scaly, he finds a place for them. After a couple hours he has a collection of tiny birds and reptiles all nestled into his jacket or his hat, but it doesn't slow him down any.
Some people might see a random line of livestock walking down the road. Others might see a shade carrying a little girl with a bandaged ankle (or perhaps she is floating). The girl keeps crying incoherently for her mother. And so, Dezel turns to you, whether you're familiar to him or not. He flips open his comm to help echo his voice.]
Her mother should be looking for her. Let's split up.
[Crewmates and anyone with regular business at the Malum, where he works, should be able to see him-- but at the very least, he can be heard through the communicator.]
[action; malum]
[Seraphim don't need to sleep, not really, and far be it from Dezel to take a nap while there's stuff going on. He goes back to the Malum instead. The food he makes is all hearty filling stuff that'll help keep people going, regardless of what the menu usually ispretentious plates with cherry tomatoes and a squiggle of sauce; the big batch of Space Pendrago Stew smells criminally good.
There's a discount if you order it with hard alcohol, which should encourage people to eat before going back out there.]

Prolly action
[He says this, and yet he does not deny it being a thing. As always, it's the delicate game of Crowley pretending to not give a shit when he, in fact, gives all the shits.]
You're going to make people think I'm some sort of samaritan.

That doesn't last long.
Matt's down on the surface right when the screams start, at least trying to do what he can to keep people calm. He cheats a little bit, to stay out of people's way, confident that the chaos will mask any unusual spryness to the point where nobody will remember or care that they saw a blind man neatly sidestep some rushing police members he couldn't possibly have seen coming.
But then he notices (feels, hears) a man walking up with a sobbing little girl, and Matt knows immediately he can't just stand there, cover be damned. He jogs over, really only barely pretending to use his cane as he reaches out for her.] Do you need- [But then comes the man's voice, curiously tinny. Matt stops, tilting his head even as he takes the girl to balance her on his hip. What's that he holding, a phone?]

He's not alone. He's got company with him: five brightly-colored lizards! Two small, rainbow-speckled ones on top of his head, two slightly larger rainbow-speckled ones on the counter peering at his tall glass of something-strong-and-cold, and one tiny one - clearly a baby - that's curled up on Eithan's shoulder half-buried into his coat, for warmth.
Eithan doesn't seem to mind them at all. Even as he eats, he's careful about not disturbing them. Though, he does wonder... He looks up, peers into the back to see who's around. ]
Hey uh... Weird question! Got any fruit? Or somethin'?

When he sees a man carrying a little girl, he dodges anyone in his way to get over to them, already reaching out to take the kid from the person carrying her.]
I can take a look at that leg of hers if you want to go looking for the woman.
[Any abnormalities he sees or hears are being noted but disregarded for now. This kid, and hopefully the mother when she's found, definitely come before his curiosity.]
I'm so sorry for not responding to this. Feel free to drop it if you want!
