[Since the news of impending doom's spread, Fleeters are doing their best (or okayest) to get citizens off the planet, and Fie's doing some work of her own. A random planet dweller here or there is fine, but her focus is mostly elsewhere. Since she's limited in her abilities right now--thanks lack of ARCUS quartz-- she sticks to what she can deal with well: plants.

Anyone on the planet or aboard the Iskaulit for a period of extended time, might notice Fie popping in and out with different bundles of supplies each time. Eventually, on the planet, she stops to sit somewhere (hopefully) out of the way to address her concerns.]

I've gathered as many plant samples and seeds as I can find for now, and I've temorarily set them up on the garden on the Iskaulit. From what I saw of the farming here, we could likely set it up on a few of the bigger ships, but the machine parts are sizable-- too big for several normal humans to carry comfortably. Maybe disassembling it would be easier...

Is anyone free to help with that? Or are people already focused on it? If there's something organized already, I want to help.

[Fie looks up, ignoring the streaks of dirt on her face as she reaches for the crate with a nod of thanks.]

Can't blame them, but it's still important. They can be food or medicine or other useful things. Treated right, they can go a long way.

Absolutely... Not to mention, if their shuttle ever has issues or malfunctions when it comes to their oxygen levels, having plants on board can be a life or death thing.

[If the garden's big enough, anyway, but one hopes they prepare to have a thriving, full area that will suffice for food as it is.]

[She gets to work looking at the samples, taking what cues she can from labels or lack thereof, setting some aside while prioritizing others.]

Gonna help or...? [No sarcasm or teasing, she just needs to know how to divide things if he is.]

[He checks his wristwatch, doing some mental math. They've got, at the very least, a countdown of sorts until the meteor reaches the atmosphere. He can spare some help for a task this critical.]

[Without looking, Fie points behind her to the left to a pile of pots, a big pile of dirt, and some labels with several markers. She's already starting on the ones he just brought her.]

Fill each pot two-thirds full with dirt, put the seeds in, then slap a label on there and make a line with the appropriate colors to indicate the plant's attributes. There are already tags with the name to stick into the dirt coupled with the seeds; the marks just make it easier to sort later. Seed sample are in the wheelbarrow to the rear.

Red for food, blue for fast acting medicine, green for mixing medicine, black for don't ingest, and purple for miscellaneous. Any other ideas, let me know.

[Hilariously enough, him being a gardening fool in Adstringendum combined with him being a hunter who has performed many a memorized ritual has made him a force to be reckoned with in this scenario. Finally, his moment has come, huh.]

Sure thing. I'll write down some information in my notes, so I can properly record them in case we implode on a planet; makes it easier for people who come after us to pick up where we left off, with whatever we spare on the Iskaulit.
