[Even in the midst of this, we still have new crew shuffled in. Nice to see the Atroma are all business as usual, right? Welcoming Kaname to a pretty miserable ship, all things considered. :|]

[Aww, small singer friend. Kaname laughs and hugs her tightly in return.]

I was starting to miss you, too.

Even if I liked my crew, it was hard not bein' able to introduce my two families.

[Good things are good and should be introduced to each other after all. And there's an unmentioned 'it still is', now that she's found out about the Paisley.]

[Kaname lets her go, while keeping one hand on her shoulder.]

A small part of ours is here at least. Let's work from there, okay?

Okay, okay, that sounds like a plan. They'll all meet eventually, whether they wanna or not. Especially since Katie said it got free and that's why it's not there anymore.

[Yeah she believed it. Forever the optimist.]

[Kaname will not ruin that, even if she does learn what really happened.]

Good. Now come on, I'll show you around. I've even got an office here.

Whatcha gonna do with your office?

[She's definitely gonna be taking her time to stare at the decor of the ship and stuff.]

Well, it will be open if people want to talk or use it for whatever reason. But I might turn some of it into something else. I'm not entirely sure yet.

[She hasn't thought about it much until now, since y'know, meteor wiping out a planet.]

[That sure was a thing, huh.]

When I had mine, I kinda decorated it lots, it was really colorful, and I got lots of different furniture and stuff, especially when we stopped by a musical world.

[Def a thing.] Come on.

[Kaname leads them to her office.]

I think I'll find something more to use it for. Any ideas how to repurpose it?

Not really. I never figured out what I wanted to do with it aside from decorating it lots. No one really needed it for anything, so I couldn't make it work for what the Paisley needed then either.

I think for now, I'm fine with the crew using it however they might need to. Possibly storage and the like.

[When the door closes behind them, she takes a seat on the couch.]

We do need to talk, however. Have a seat.

[She recognizes Kaname's seriousness, and takes a seat on the couch as well.]

About what?

Last week, right after I arrived and before you did, something happened in the system the fleet was stationed at.

[She turns to face Freyja.] The planet was hit by a meteor. Most of the population was evacuated because the fleet had a warning. [Prophetic dreams actually, but that's another story.] They were left with supplies and provisions for them to manage on their own for a while. It seemed like the planet would recover as well.

[She gives her a kind smile.] I just didn't want you hearing about it another way in case it's brought up.

[She frowns, it's not like that kind of thing is necessarily unheard of in space, but it still sucks. And it could've been a lot worse. She's quiet for a moment before she says anything.]

Thank you for telling me. [She glances up at Kaname, only just realizing she'd been staring at her knees as she took into the information.] So everything is gonna be okay? Or as okay as it can be?

Of course. [She purses her lips slightly, trying to think of how to put it.] For now, okay as it can be, I think. They lost their home and whatever they couldn't take with them. It'll be a long time until the planet's livable again. But after a while, I'd like to think it might be on its way to everything being all right.

Do you think they'd ever let us go back to help them? Probably not, 'cause the Fleet likes to keep moving, but...

[Not that she's even sure what they could do to help, really. A concert? Something to keep their hopes up, like when they played distraction when they launched the city too soon? Just... something, that's all she wants to do, especially since she just missed it.]

There's no reason that it couldn't happen. They managed to do a lot for them before, so who knows what might be next for us?

[She puts her hand on Freyja's shoulder. Such a good girl.]

Anything can happen! 'Specially here. I'd like to see them, though, just to make sure they'll be okay...

I have a feeling there's gonna be more people we've gotta help.

There's always people in need of help. Maybe we just needed to get them started.
