[Two of the shuttles have been away, on the planet, and it's late on the day of the latest Shuffle when they dock back up, a solid half the crew re-embarking after a planetary visit to find their little aloof and uncomfortable family has expanded yet again. Tim comes to the bridge right away to double-check all ship's systems, just on general principles, but he invites anyone he sees along the way to come with him.]

Hey. Welcome aboard.

[And his smile just gets a bit wider and he gives a short bark of laughter in greeting.]

Well, thank you for the welcome. It's nice to meet ya. Kibachiyo of the Seiryuu at your service.

[ She hesitates for a second, and then offers her hand. ] I'm Steph. Tactical support around here. Not that the position seems all that necessary so far...

[He tilts his side to the side for a moment until he remembers what it is that Westeners do to greet one another. Then he smiles brightly and a bit awkwardly brings his clawed hand up and gently grasps her hand. He has no idea if he's actually doing this right.]

Well hopefully neither of us are needed then. I'm up for a good spar now and again but this security thing seems more serious then that.

[ The grip's a little awkward, but Steph rolls with it. She shakes his hand and releases him, still smiling. ]

Well, everything's been quiet since I got here, at least. Hopefully it'll stay that way.
