Tourist Mingle
Who: The crew of the Tourist! or anybody who might visit.
Broadcast: Probably not
Action: Anywhere onboard
When: The week of 29Mar-04April
[All things considered, the Tourist is a fairly quiet ship; it seems most of its crew keep to themselves. What happens when they do happen to bump into one another, though? Let's find out! A chance encounter at the coffee machine, an awkward meeting in the shower, or maybe just killing some time in quarters, let's show the Fleet how the Tourist keeps it real.
[Your captain has purchased some fruit at the market on Mor and has generously deigned to share, so there's a selection of apples and oranges and a box of strawberries in the kitchen for the taking! Don't be greedy, though!]

[ Not... A truth, entirely. There's an outline of a pillar, of some creatures to one side - wolves, not that he would admit it, with Mythal in the middle, presented with a sword that had a hilt of dragonbone. Slowly, Solas shakes his head. ]
I can remake it.

[When Jove looks back at him, she's reminded of just how close they're sitting and the exact reason she got there, the fact that he woke to find her curled under his desk with Cole, and her face heats up a little.]
I'm sorry we disturbed your sleep, by the way. I had intended to calm him and leave you to your rest, but...
[But it didn't exactly go that way.]

[ He says nothing, just lets his smile do the talking for him, gentle and soft. ]
I would rather be there for him than sleep through it all, lethallan, I assure you.

Maybe I should have woken you first, then. It might have saved me a trip under your desk.
[Which isn't to say she minded going to those lengths to soothe Cole, or that she wouldn't do it again if the need arose, but waking Solas would have probably been the faster way to calm Cole down.]

Perhaps. You were doing very well, however.
[ And he means it, watching her with something gentle on his face. ]
I was impressed.

It seems she does that around him more and more. Curious.]
I'd like to think that offering kindness to someone who needs it would be the common choice, but I'm learning more and more that isn't usually true. [Her smile as changed into something painfully fond, now.] It's difficult not to want to do those sorts of things for Cole. He spends so much time seeing after the hurts of others, it only seems right someone should be there to soothe his own pain.
