Well, I guess since we're both new to this and introductions are out of the way, I think the only things I have to ask about are mostly personal questions. Like where you're from. Is that all right, or am I getting ahead of the socially acceptable timeline?

[She's gently joking of course. But half in jest, as the saying goes.]

Perhaps it might be a bit personal, but I wouldn't mind divulging my secrets to a pretty lady.

But I'm afraid my answers will most likely be very boring to you.

You let me be the judge of that. Shall we start with the standard: where are you from?

[ The problem with that question is that he's never really had to explain where he's from. It was generally pretty obvious by his attire, and if it wasn't --well, that was what he had intended. But everyone was familiar with the way the countries worked, back home, and so there was no context necessary.

Not that he's sure he wants to provide it. After all, the Fire Nation was infamous for all the awful things they had done in the last hundred years ... it wasn't something eh wanted to deny at all, but it was also pretty heavy talk for someone he'd just met. ]

I come from a country that is known for its prowess with fire.

[His phrasing is vague to the point she can tell there's a lot more behind it than he wants to share at the moment. That's fine. People all have their stories and only they can know when it's time to tell them.
