[He doesn't know about the planet bringing back the sensations of the dreams yet, but he worries.]

[When the feed starts, an armor wearing Shiro is sitting down and taking off his helmet as the light blue lights of his suit go off.]

This is Shiro, co-captain of S.S. Blameless.

[His face is serious, and his tone of voice means business.]

Last month, certain members of the fleet had visions about the planet we were visiting and the incident that happened after. But there are certain dreams that didn't find their match there, and it seems this new system has brought those sensations back. So early today, I went down with a teammate that had those dreams to investigate. [He frowns a bit, obviously not pleased with the result.] There are some small towns, inhabited by the orange-skinned people we usually encounter. They're heavily armed, too, because of a group called the Vieziri. They're dangerous, deadly hunters that have made the locals live in constant fear.

[His hold on his helmet tightens - it's frustrating, not having his lion, being limited in what he can help with. But he continues, the natural leader in him shining through.]

I know we can't stay in our ships forever. So if you go down there, please, don't do it alone. The bigger the group, the better. Bring a weapon with you, if you aren't the powered or magical kind. The locals are willing to sell theirs, too. Keep your communicators safe and close at all times, check the GPS function that our fellow fleet members were offering some time ago. Captains, it would be wise of you to know where your crew is at all times.

[He pauses. There isn't much more he can say other than be careful. So how to end such a feed?]

If a situation like Lyuku's must happen again, I can only hope we're better prepared this time. [ #famouslastwords ]

[ Her eyes close as she dredges up the vivid memories of the vision. ]

I understand... I know not if it will help, but in my vision I was being watched at first... and that is when creatures began chasing me. I knew I was being hunted... but there was a lot of dissonance and words being spoken as well. The words were 'more', 'stop', and 'not them'.

"Not them"? [He frowns. Now those are very particular, why could they possibly mean? It could be just someone begging for their family, but... it doesn't feel that way.] And your surroundings? They matched the planet? Forests, and lots of red?

I've no idea what those words could mean other than perhaps they were hunting the wrong prey? [ She's clueless, honestly. Luna hums as she thinks back, before she nods. ] They did, forests of red... everything was red. But a lot of the plants were dead and... petrified, if that makes any sense.

The locals said they don't care if it's men or women, young or old. Would it mean not-locals are off limits? [Because that would mean good news for them, but it sounds too good to be true.] Forests of red sounds right. I haven't seen the dead plants, but I didn't enter the forests in the first place. It's their territory.

[A pause before he finally asks.] Are you going to look for those plants, Lunafreya?

Very unlikely. I highly doubt anything is off limits to them. As far fetched as it may sound, I've pondered the theory that perhaps they are being controlled by some sort of higher being. The words 'not them'... that sounds highly selective to me. I suppose anything is possible, though. I don't blame you... even if it wasn't, it seemed very easy to get lost in there.

[ She nods. ] I am. If it was in my vision, it may be a clue. Even if I can bring a sample or two back, that would be worth the trip. [ As hideous as that vision had been, Luna ain't scurred. Disturbed, but not scared. ]

A higher being... [He considers the idea. Not completely impossible but--] Controlled or just ordered by one? It makes a big difference.

[These guys don't come off to him as brainwashed, but who knows. He trusts the judgment of people with powers to sense these things better.

Shiro's eyes fill with worry, his lips tensing in a thin line. He obviously doesn't think it's a good idea, but he can't stop her. (Or more like, he could try, but it wouldn't be pretty.] Please be careful, Luna, and don't hesitate to come back as soon as you notice anything suspicious. You aren't going alone, are you?

I... I've no idea. Perhaps it is the planet itself. More than likely I am wrong, but one never knows. [ It sounds crazy, but come on. Everything they've all been through is kind of crazy, isn't it?

Luna smiles reassuringly at Shiro, shaking her head. ] I will. I promise, I will use extreme caution. Ah... as much as I would prefer to go alone, Noctis has already shot that idea down before it even had a chance to get very far. But he mentioned perhaps purchasing weapons if the natives have any for sale. If they don't, Noctis still has his sword. I'm sure we will be alright.

The planet itself? Wouldn't the locals be affected by it too then? [Nope, the idea of a sentient planet doesn't bother him. Been there, done that already.

A nod of approval.] A responsible husband. The natives do have weapons to sell, so try to land outside their towns before venturing out.

They might be... how do we know that these creatures did not once start out as inhabitants of the planet? Normal natives that the planet turned not-so-normal. [ It's far out there, but she's grasping at straws and as crazy as the idea sounds, she can't help but wonder. ] It sounds like something out of a fairytale, though, I suppose.

[ R e s p o n s i b l e.... yes. Mostly. At least when it comes to this. They are still working on the whole responsibility thing. When Noctis is able to properly pick up his clothes and put them in the hamper and wake up at a decent hour without having to literally be dragged out of bed and onto the floor by the ankles, she will agree that he is responsible. She... looks amused for that very reason. ] Yes, quite. That is good to know, I will make sure we do and that weapons are the first thing we purchase before we head out into the forest. Admittedly, I am not one for killing things... but I can promise that if one of those creatures comes towards us, I will make it very, very sorry.

[His eyes widen a little bit. He's seen and learned so much since he joined Voltron that what Luna describes sounds as entirely possible.] No, it isn't a fairytale. It's a completely valid theory. I wish we could have a way to know, but as dangerous as it is to go down... I'll put my trust on the people that can sense these things, I suppose.

[Amused, huh. Shiro won't say no to a bit of improvement in the mood. Especially when he hears the last part - he smiles a little too. Luna and her husband are protective of each other, it's a nice thing to see - their second chance blossoming.] I know what you mean - killing is never pleasant. But when it comes to protecting people... some times they give you no other choice. [Talking like a true soldier in a war.] I hope it doesn't come to that for you.
