[He makes a haughty sweeping gesture that at least takes with it the slight sneer. He knows he shouldn't find it upsetting, as much as he tells other people not to get too wrapped up in terminology when different worlds are involved, but out of all the alternative terminologies he's accepted, that is not one of them.

He smirks suddenly, as if at a private joke.]

Though, truth be told, I was once called Lord Wizard, though that fits here even less.

[You can bet he'll be calling him that from time to time, regardless of how he takes it. Despite his face now, Oren smiles, pleasant as ever.]

Were you an actual Lord, then?

[He probably should not have opened his mouth because he's not sure if he likes or hates hearing that again, especially from Oren. But he's committed to it now. And he honestly figured it might impressed the prince. If he has to be here, best to keep here where he can see him, so to speak.]

I held a title back home, yes. [Which is his way of neatly dodging the 'actual' part of the question. It was was fuzzy matter since he was both exiled and not at all actual nobility, but he'd had the title nonetheless]

Fairly standard for any wizard of rank in Mélusine. Though it's been a long time since I was home.

[It's funny, because to Oren, not answering that question is an answer in itself. Still, he continues on as polite as ever.]

Not as such. Atroma seems to have a slightly different goal and mode of operation. At least it gives us more chances to get to know one another.

[Mattias had told him, of course, but he was curious to see if Oren would answer the question, so he's only half surprised by the long string of titles that rolls off the man's tongue. It tells him a lot, that Oren couldn't resist saying it, so he isn't entirely sure he buys the humility that follows it. He didn't mention his title for no reason. Royalty responded to it better than others.]

[Leaning against the wall behind him, he relaxes a bit more.] I've always enjoyed this sort of thing. I consider it an adventure.

[He smirks just slightly, his gaze assessing Oren silently.]
