[When the video opens, Kaname and Freyja are both visible, sitting next to each other and they look kinda scratched up and generally not in the best of shape (though not really terribly off, either.) Freyja waves energetically at everyone before actually saying something.]

Hoina! Eheh, so, Kaname-san and I wanna let everyone know somethin' we found out 'cause it could be useful, especially if you're down here.

[Kaname nods, a small smile on her face.] The short version is we're singers back home, and our voices can have an effect on different things. We weren't sure how that would play out here at first, but we've found they do work against the Vieziri. When confronted, they're stalled or severely slowed. Right now, we don't have an estimate on how long it holds them for, but it's likely it would be enough time to gain some distance if it came to that.

[And then Freyja interjects again, with another wave at the camera.] Soooooooo, if you need any help, you should ask! 'Cause we might be able to do somethin' about it, especially if the Vieziri keep comin' after you. We'll do our best to help anyone that needs it.

[And she looks thoughtful for a second.] Ehh... there was somethin' else too, wasn't there?

[The older singer chuckles and pats her shoulder.] Additionally, it's stronger with the two of us together, since we amplify each other's voices, even if one of us will do in a pinch. Please don't hesitate to ask if you'd like some company on a scavenging trip. Please note, we're no substitute for anyone with actual combat skills, so do be safe in that regard as well.

And yes, there is. [Kaname can't help but shake her head a little in amusement.] Once everything here is taken care and we're back in orbit, we'd like to consult with an engineer about hopefully building us some equipment similar to what we use back home. You will be compensated for your time, of course.

Mmhm! We can describe it and everything if that's what you're gonna need. It can wait, but we wanted to ask anyway just in case! It'd help us protect ourselves if we ever had to go in a fight. [So with that, Freyja shrugs. That mostly covers what they needed to say right now.] Sooo, just let us know, okay? We're listenin', promise! [And then, in true Walkure fashion, she throws the Walkure gangsign.]

[There's a final nod from Kaname and an accompanying W before she leans forward to turn off the camera.]

[Did they just flip everyone off?? is the question that remains in Sokka's mind. He kind of wants to ask, but that would probably come off as rude. They seemed like they genuinely wants to help people, so best stay on their good side. ]

So you have...magic voices? That's what I'm getting here. I mean, I prefer sticking to a sword myself, but whatever helps the fight, right?

I'm an engineer. Never done anything around music before, but I'd be willing to give it a try.

It's not magic, no, but it is pretty difficult to explain to someone not from our world. People are generally born with it, and it usually only works through singing. So it can be tricky to find people with similar abilities if they aren't singers.

For example, one of our friends has it as well, but he's a pilot. We found it when his abilities resonated with Freyja's voice.

[And the other thing!] Our request isn't music related, not really, so there's no need to worry about that.

So he...flies your... whatever and sings with you guys? And you can control uh...other beings?

[Were he from Earth, he'd equate that to sirens, but alas, he is not. Such a tragedy. ]

I mean, it's kinda like magic, but it's not. We still need people to help protect us when it gets really bad, though, even if they gave us lots of ways to defend ourselves back home. Walkure always got deployed when there were... um... people with this thing called the Var, 'cause when they had it they would get really violent. Our singin' calms them down so they don't hurt anyone!

And the stuff we want isn't really singing stuff, like Kaname-san said.

[He can't make sense of it with science, so he's going to keep calling it magic in his head. Everyone can join Katara in wishing he'd broaden his horizons a bit in that regard. ]

Well, any way that chills these guys out long enough for us to get the upper hand is absolutely welcome. We're out of options to be precious about that kinda thing now.

Great, well, I can do my best to make just about anything. My ship has an engineer upgrade, so I have a loooot of inventing stuff there.

We had a fighter with us, covering our backs, but we did discover this during that time. Otherwise, it's been work attempting go repair our ship. We're at the Bloodsport right now. Are you all right?

Do you think you could sing to one of us to give us a revelation on how to fix the mess they made of the ships? Or to keep us energized while we work? Something like that...

It's good to keep an open mind, if nothing else. [Ha ha...]

Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way, not normally at least. [Kaname seems a little contemplative now.] If you mean physically re-energize you, likely not, but one of the things we do back home is keep morale up. We're more than happy to do that.

We could sing for morale, like Kaname-san said, but I don't think we can keep everyone energized...

[Hayate's an entirely different story, for a few reasons, so it likely wouldn't work the same or even close to the same for anyone else.]

From what we can tell, it greatly impedes their actions, enough to stop them in their tracks at first. We weren't in a situation to let it continue to find out further, but it's a good enough discovery on its own.

[Kaname smiles a little at the second question.]

It's W for Walküre. All of us do it at home. It's a little silly here, but it's comforting.
