Who: Okita Souji
Broadcast: Yes
Action: Only if you can find him where he's hiding
When: Now!
[When everyone is still reeling from dealing with what happened on the planet, what better way to cheer everyone up than some seriously weird ass fun? Totally. He has the best ideas.
So on some morning after the drift has started and the Fleet seems to be calming down, everyone will get this lovely weird message on the comms. There is no picture of the speaker attached because he sure as hell isn't giving clues to his location.]
I heard from somewhere that this is a popular game in the future.
[Attached to the message are two images:

and

Apparently, you look at a photograph and rate the person from 1 to 10. Feel free to send out more photographs to rate. I'm sure we all have opinions.

As for your picture.... Mm~ He has very nice hair, so 8.
video
He's got super pretty hair, right? But he's also got the sweetest personality and he's a very good friend and he can stab the shit out of people, so he's a 13 out of 10 for me.

I suppose that being able to headbutt someone and not mess up sunglasses might be one reason why we didn't wear them in my time.
[Also they weren't invented yet, but shhhh]
It's quite difficult to stay clean and tidy when fighting people, isn't it?
video
Yeah, like glasses tend to be kind of weak... it's better to just have a helmet with a polarizer and the benefit there is it makes your head extra hard. [This is important stuff.] It really is a bitch. Like... your fingernails get all fucked up and dirty, or you get blood in your hair, or your clothes are a mess if they're not slick anti-stain fabric, which never drapes worth a shit.

[It must be hard for her without him here. Much like it is for him without anyone he knows from home. Glasses remind him of Yamanami, the gentle vice commander who had given up combat after the unfortunate incident with Serizawa. Okita can't blame him, even as he knows that Yamanami's refusal will eventually cause problems.]
It's important to wear things that can be cleaned easily. Breathable cottons and hemp, for example, are quite good if you can get them into the wash quickly.

My biggest concern with natural fibers is that they're flammable and take chemical burns. They're also just super expensive where I'm from. Which I guess is weird?
voice;
Ah, well, I suppose in my time "chemical burns" was not something we needed to worry about. Fire, certainly, but everything was flammable in my time period. Why is natural cloth expensive in your time?
video
I think it's expensive because you like... have to grow plants and stuff or animals for the cloth, right? There's not that much room for growing that kind of stuff and you can't do it in protein farms like you can with meat I guess.

[What a weird thing the future is. He certainly wouldn't want to live that way, but for those who had never known the sun or the sky, perhaps it wasn't so bad.]
Is your city the last one left alive on your entire planet?
