(no subject)

Who: Natasha Romanoff + you (+ maybe some Bucky Barnes)
Broadcast: Video
Action: Mostly no, but we could work something out.
When: Now

[The video feed start, focusing tightly on Natasha's face, the only visible backdrop a rather generic portion of cabin wall.]

So checking the date, seems like it's been a while. Nice to see everyone's back in the air. Hopefully in one piece. I see a few people have left.

Anyone want to fill me in on the important details? Or should we let sleeping dogs—

[The sound of a door cuts her off the, and Natasha looks up. Whoever she sees, her expression softens. She smiles slightly, lifting her chin slightly and turning her head to catch a kiss from some loser tall enough that only the lower half of his face makes it in the frame. The stubble on his chin and the shape of his mouth might be enough to identify him though.]

A lot of catching up to d—

[Suddenly the feed cuts out.]

Then no so long. The planet that came next matched another one of the dreams - the one with a read jungle and people being chased. We were shot at soon after we arrived, and many of our ships were stranded on land for quite a while. The attackers were a group of cannibal hunters called Vieziri. The rest of us stayed in orbit, fixing our damage ships until the Interceptors arrived. We planned an attack with their help and the intel from a mysterious man call Zhade. As you can see, we won, and freed the locals from the group that had been hunting them for ages.

They-- [He called them a man before just because the word was useful, but he does not know their sex.] --used to be a Vieziri. Their face was burned - they said once you join the Vieziri, they don't let you escape easily. They had wanted a way out n a long time and helped us defeat the group so they could escape too. I believe the Interceptors took them along when they left.

They did. If you're curious about them, they got into our network. You can still find their broadcast if you go back a few posts.

[A pause as he remembers the status check the captains did.] Not that I know of. Lots of damage - both of physical and the mental kind. And the ships, obviously. But I don't think we lost anyone. Something did go right, thankfully.

[Sure, here death doesn't mean much. But even if they come back, it doesn't sound like an experience he'd wish on anyone.]

They also told me our network isn't safe. It's easy to hack into it, anyone could get in and send a message like they and the Interceptors did. Which is also why our Communication Officers can easily encrypt and hack too. But we don't know how much Atroma follows those broadcasts.

[A nod and a little smile.] I think we all share that sentiment.

[He sighs.] In the end, everything is for the ratings, isn't it.

[Every single detail in their lives is for someone else's entertainment. It's something he tries not to think about it much, considering his past, but some times it can hit you just like this and it's just ugh.]

It makes me wonder how much they hear in the Iskaulit, especially since we got those upgrades from the heist. [And speaking of the heist...] I don't think I caught your name that day.

Even if it isn't widely broadcast after all, someone definitely finds entertainment in us.

[The disgust in his voice is obvious, but also is how sure he's of it. Been there done that, would not recommend.]

Shiro, pilot and co-captain at the Blameless. I'm always try to stay up to date with information if you ever need anything.
