Cole doesn't like the communicators. He finds it too disorientating to talk to people and have that vast distance between them.

Instead, he's setting out to visit each of the ships and meet the people on board. He likes people and he likes meeting and talking with people and he'd far rather do that face to face.

Don't worry. He doesn't take up much space and he takes up no supplies. He just wants to meet people.

But... he gives The Tourist and The Three Twins a wide berth. Fenris had been very clear that he was not to see Cole again and Cole will respect that by avoiding the places he seems to be.

Anyone from those ships will have to be visitors somewhere else to run into Cole.

[He wasn't expecting any visitors today, but part of his hopes it's Crowley. The thought is sufficiently hopeful that he wanders over the to the shuttle bay without even the slight consideration that this might be some kind of hostile incursion.

Luckily for his lack of common sense, it isn't. It's someone he's hasn't ever seen before, in fact, though he doesn't at act as if this were unusual. He smiles at Cole, hiding the briefest glimmer of confusion behind the mask of a bright smile.]

I don't believe we've met. What brings you to the Starstruck?

[Cole looks back at the shuttle and points at it.]

We haven't met.

The shuttle brought me.

[Felix's smirk is half amusement and half annoyance]

I see you're one of those literal types. Let me rephrase. What is the purpose of your visit? Is there someone on the ship you've come to see? Mattias, perhaps? [If it would be anyone, it would be Mattias. He talks to everyone]

Oh, I understand. I came to meet people. I don't know a lot of the people in the fleet, so I'm visiting everywhere.

How ambitious of you. [And a little crazy, but that doesn't mean he won't attempt to indulge it]

I'm assigned to the Pathstone.

[Since that seems to be the next thing of interest. Who he is and which ship they think he should be staying on.]

The Pathstone. I have a good friend aboard that one. I imagine you've met Crowley by now.

I met Crowley!

He says he's a demon, but he's clearly not.

[That gets a smirk of amusement out of the wizard]

I hope you didn't tell him that.

I can sense demons. They tug at my being, grind against my awareness, grazing and gouging.

You look and know them for what they are. Rage. Envy. Pride.

Crowley isn't even a real demon name.

[Felix chuckles, though there's a spark of interest there. He also makes a note to tease Crowley about this later]

If there is one piece of advice I can offer, is that in a place like this, words to not always mean to you what they mean to others. He might not be your kind of demon, but it's true for him where he came from.

Are you some manner of demon expert, then?

But... he has emotions. Complex emotions. And his name doesn't even reflect him!

[Cole can be a little slow to adjust to different worlds. Especially where demons and spirits are involved.]

No. Solas is an expert. I just lived, listened, learned, lost...

[He trails off, looking off to the side somewhere.]

[Felix frowns at him, and he takes the orphaned thought to meant that maybe demons had hurt him in some way]

There are different ways of being an expert. You probably know more than myself, at any rate. [He does offer Cole a tiny smile.]

I don't know. I don't know what you know to compare.

Demons are, as far as I know, only stories where I come from. The word doesn't mean much to me, beyond that which is meant to scare people who don't know any better.

Demons are real. They're just spirits who interact with mortals. Mortals shape them and change them and then they try and take the mortal.

Or something like that.

Mortals shape them? How?

Mortal thoughts and emotions. It is Love until you start to want from it and then it is Desire. It is Justice until it has seen too much cruelty and it craves Vengeance.

It is Compassion, until it learns to Despair.

[He says this last bit with a whisper and shivers.]
