[O HAI THAR. There was suddenly a small child on the ship. A child that apparently had access to sharp objects that normally belonged to the ship's pilot... and was also a-okay with using them! Or carrying them around, at least. He woke up one morning in the body of a 9-year-old, and he's kind of at that mentality, too. Though, he was aware of things enough that it hadn't been a shock for him to wake up in a strange place. His memories were intact.]

[Keith might not be able to get himself to the planet, but he could get to the Iskaulit! He was stuffing himself on mac and cheese at the Melting Pot, or trying to figure out how he could use the punching bag in the gym without it knocking him over at his tiny size, or he was swimming in the pool. He could sometimes be found in the Lion's Den, Team Voltron's not-so-secret hideout on the ship in an old office near the main area.]

[If he was with an adult, Keith was okay going to the planet's surface. Frankly, he probably could take care of himself, but he didn't want to get potentially all mixed up with any local version of child protective services and end up stuck on the planet in some sort of weird alien foster care system by mistake. So, it was just better and safer to be escorted.

But he was definitely willing to go along with snowball fights and other "kid-like" things. Careful. He was a pretty snarky 9-year-old.]

[Keith looked up at Shiro for a moment, and then shrugged. He was pretty down in the dumps right now, and just wanted something to distract himself.]

I don't know if I can reach the games...

[He sounded really depressed about that.]

[padadin]

Isn't that what you have me for?

[Come here, Keith, let big brother Shiro pick you up by your armpits - to his wide shoulders you go.]

[Keith let out a little alarmed yelp, every muscle in his small body tensing up in surprise.]

What are you-?!

[Oh... uh... well...]

You don't hafta do this...

[He was almost pouting a little. He may look and act like a little kid, but he was still Keith... memories intact. So, being carried on someone's shoulders was a little embarrassing.]

But I want to. Just like I like training and racing with you, I can help you with this too. [He throws his head back a bit, trying to look at Keith from under his white fluff.] I'm going to ask you a question, but I want you to think about it properly first and then give me an honest answer - do you want me to put you down?

[Keith visibly pouted and, yes, the part of him that was still a 20-year-old felt like a jerk up there... he wanted to be put down. But, at the same time, it was nice not to feel so crazy small all the time again. He hated that, too. And he hated feeling confused.

He huffed, and Shiro could probably feel him sag a bit.]

I don't know.

[padadin]

Let me know when you make up your mind then.

[Meanwhile, Shiro will keep Keith on his shoulders, and take him to the Arcade. It's not that amazing, especially compared to what they had back on Earth, but he'll stop at whatever game Keith tells him to.]

[Keith sighed heavily, leaning down to rest his chin on the top of Shiro's head.]

How long do you think I'll be stuck like this?

[The games weren't really getting his attention.]

[Shiro will just keep going around the arcade until Keith tells him to stop or leave.]

A few days, minimum. I haven't seen a glitch last less than that. Mine was two weeks long.

[If Shiro could see Keith's face, he'd see those large dark eyes get even wider. He whined.]
