[As if waking up on a strange ship alone wasn't enough when Ulaz knew he shouldn't be there, now he was on yet another ship. This really was not funny. His attempts to try and get information through hacking had been poor at best and he was no closer to figuring what had happened.

He had learned one thing though; he did not like confetti. It was not amusing in the least.

He'd been pretty much silent so far - if being a Blade had taught him nothing else, it was how to make as little noise as possible. But now he doesn't really have a choice]

Can someone explain what is going on here? First I was on one ship and now another, neither of them where I should be. This must be a joke.

[And why does he say that? Hmm...]

Mm... No. I think that's all I have right now. I've been working with Kolivan a lot, so I think I kind of get it. [Most of it... some of it... enough to not have questions at the moment.]

Well, you would if you work with Kolivan.

[He finds it interesting though that Kolivan was personally taking Keith under his wing. He didn't do that with most young Blades. There were too many of them even so. Though the fact he was a Paladin of Voltron might be contributing to that]

Have been you in this fleet long?

Almost a year.

[He shrugged a little.]

I guess that's kind of long. Though, it seems nothing progresses back home without us... like, if there's a chance that someone goes back for a bit, they pick up right where they left off and with no memory of this place.

[He sounded like he was talking from experience.]

Then, when they get back, it could be a different amount of time spent home versus how long they were gone, and it gets all weird and confusing.

So even though you are here with time passing, nothing changes back home? That... is very odd.

[It does sound like he was talking like it was from experience. Was that how he figured out about the fact he was not the red paladin anymore?]

I wonder how they are able to do something like that.

Yeah. It is. We haven't figured all of that out, yet. But everyone in the Fleet has been gathering as much information as they can. We'll figure it out eventually, I'm sure. It just might take some time.

[Keith sighed a little. He definitely wasn't the patient type.]

I saw you talked to a few of us already. All five of us are here. The Princess was, too, for a while.

Of course. Not everything can happen immediately especially when you are disadvantaged in gathering information.

[This he says from experience]

So the princess is not here? Is it like when they disappear for a time? They just... vanish?

[Keith nodded.]

Apparently, people disappearing is a thing. It happened to most of us, actually. Hunk's the only one that hasn't disappeared for a time. Allura's the only one that's disappeared and hasn't come back, yet.

So all of you did... except for Hunk? I doubt you'd know if there is a reason why some return and some don't.

[Keith shook his head.]

No... nor do we know why one of us didn't disappear, but the rest of us all did. And Allura disappeared before the rest of us. And, when the rest of disappeared, but Hunk didn't, he apparently went into some sort of coma-like state. So, I don't know. It's really weird.

That is very strange. [Of course he says that even given everything else that has happened in the past few days. This should really be about par for the course] A glitch in the Atroma's system then?

Maybe. It's something to note and keep an eye on for later.

[Keith sighed a little.]

You know... I never got to thank you for saving us.

Of course.

You don't need to be concerned with that. I was doing what had to be done.

[Keith frowned a bit, and then nodded. He could understand the mindset, at least. He'd been there...]

Still. Even if it had to be done, it's not an easy thing to do.

[He took a deep breath, and then gave Ulaz a weak smile.]

I should head back to my ship before Lance freaks out that I went missing. He's been stupidly protective with me stuck as a kid like this. I'll see you around.

Yes, it is better to not make others worry about where you have gone. I will be here.

[In case Keith wanted to talk again]

[He nodded.]

See ya.

[Knife clutched tightly against himself, Keith headed off back to the Huntress.]
