[The one he looted from a cannibal is... fine... but lacks quality.]
Not all at once, surely.

[It's definitely a strange gift to give a prisoner, but then again, they're given a lot of freedom on these strange ships.]
Yes, why not?

Ten years' worth is a lot to do at once, why not space it out a bit?

[Except in space, for some reason. But he'd kill for a pint of good Dwarven stout every once in a while.]
Well, I know it's a lot, but is there really something wrong with wanting to give your wife a lot of gifts because you can?
no subject
[It comes of having hundreds of years to waste letting it ferment. They live long, they can wait.]
No, of course not. I am sure she will like it regardless. Do you have ideas for what to get?

[And that Oghren isn't here with a lot of heavy alcohol running around. The last thing they need is a dwarf trying to light his farts on fire with the mages. In space.]
I have a lot of ideas, but mainly I want to get her things that she won't think to buy herself.
[Like sexy lingerie and stupid romance novels.]

[It is really easy to convince Thor to let someone try it. Mostly because he finds it so damn funny when they do.]
I admit I am not familiar enough with Riona to know what that would be. Would that be the reason for the planet visit?
no subject
[There is nothing worse than pissing off your wife because you're too drunk to function. Thor, you've just taken on friendship with an overgrown puppy. Enjoy it.]
If I know her, she'll buy books and weapons aplenty any chance she gets, but she only has very practical clothes in her closet. And things for the dog.
But buying things for her is only one reason I want to go. They might have books about healing or the technology running around here that could be useful.

I admit I have not looked at any books myself, but I am certain you're right. You're bound to find something that has that kind of information in it. This world seems decently developed.

Even if they're not particularly useful, it would still be nice to have something new to read. I'm not as keen on movies as Riona seems to be, but a good book is always welcome.
[Thank you, Chantry-given education. You have served him well in so many regards.]

I have no doubt you will find new ones on this system. It will just be a matter of choosing them.

Well, extra money is needed, so I have to take some jobs down on the planets. What about you? Are you looking to wrestle more bears?
[Yes, yes he heard all about that from Riona.]
no subject
No, not this time. Though if a bear challenges me like that again it will get the same treatment. I've been doing transport runs between the planets.
no subject
Just make sure that the next time the fauna of a planet challenges you to a duel you either record it or I'm nearby. I would like to see these feats of strength that had my wife so enraptured.

[He shrugs; it was one of the weirder animal fights he's had, but definitely not in the top ten.]
The bear was unhappy about it all.

No sane man goes around with no weapon, even if he can't suplex his enemy like a rag doll.

[He heaves a sigh. He misses that hammer.]
But it was destroyed not long ago.
no subject
I'm sorry to hear that it's gone though. A good weapon is worth a lot.
no subject
[It had been a point of pride that he was able to wield it. Now, after Hela, he wasn't so sure.]
Thank you. [A shrug] In the end, there are greater things to worry about than the loss of my hammer.
no subject
[WTF DUDE? What the fuck.]
And just because you have to keep going to save the world doesn't mean you can't mourn the loss of a perfectly good weapon. I mean, I had to go back to a big battlefield and kill a bunch of Darkspawn to get the my father's sword back, but it was worth the detour on our journey to save our country.
It's all about priorities.
